What a perfect day to say goodbye to summer. I spent a lovely afternoon on the beach, reading, journaling and looking for little bits of driftwood. I also get very excited when I find pebbles with holes in them.

My journal and gorgeous Champagne Pearl Rockster fountain pen went on a little adventure on Sunday when I took my mum to the town park to see the swans. They had 9 cygnets in the spring and they have all survived and are now almost as big as the parents.

There are some pens that just feel like a season.

Happy Monday everyone! I hope the week ahead is a lovely one for you. This little video montage is of a visit a couple of weeks ago, to a local coffee shop @hayleysdevonkitchen which is a real little gem in the heart of Brixham. I enjoyed a lovely coffee with friendly service and fabulous background music. They even kindly indulged me with their stamp in my passport TN - what more could a coffee & journal lover want 🫶🏼

If you want a quintessential charming fishing town experience, visit Brixham in Devon, UK and do visit Hayley’s Kitchen too ☕️
