Some time ago, I was invited to create a page around the theme “My Happy Place” 🛁✨

And honestly… my happy place is not really a place.
It’s a small moment.

A bathtub full of hot water and a bath bomb, a podcast playing softly in the background or a comfort show on my tablet… and finally allowing myself to slow down 🥰

This little routine has become my ultimate cozy escape. A quiet bubble where everything feels softer for a while 🤍

It’s time to bring out the autumn supplies. 🍂✨

And of course, we’re continuing my little challenge of giving my forgotten supplies a second life. 🤭✂️

Although… this time, I wouldn’t really call them forgotten. 😂 These ones have simply been sitting patiently in my stash, waiting for the right season to finally come out.
And I think it was definitely their moment. 🍁🥰

Soft colors, warm autumn foliage, delicate pinks and peachy tones… this page feels like a very gentle way of welcoming the season. 🌸🍂

Not every autumn page needs to be dark, orange and dramatic. 😏 Sometimes autumn can be soft, tender and almost dreamy. 🥰

So here we are: my first little autumn scenery in a palette that feels surprisingly sweet and peaceful. 🍂🩷

September is over… which means it’s time for the moodboard. 🍂✨

For this month’s moodboard, I wanted to try a color combination I had never really used before: red and purple. ❤️💜

And honestly, the flowers of late summer seem to come in every possible color, so September felt like the perfect opportunity to experiment with this combination. 🌸🌺
There’s always something a little bittersweet about September for me. It marks the end of summer and the arrival of autumn — a month that feels suspended somewhere in between. ☀️🍂

Not quite summer anymore, but not completely autumn either.
A little transition.
A little pause.
And, perhaps, a little melancholy. 🤎

But maybe that’s exactly what makes September so interesting to capture in a moodboard. 🥰

The calm after the storm - Wrath

“To convince yourself that a man thus dominated has lost his reason, observe his entire demeanour: just as raving madness has as its infallible symptoms a defiant and menacing face, a grim brow, a fierce expression, a hurried gait, clenched hands, a flushed complexion, and those frequent sighs which it utters with effort, so too does a man appear when in a rage.

His eyes blaze and sparkle; his whole face turns crimson, so violently does the blood, driven from his heart, boil and surge; his lips tremble, his teeth clench, his hair stands on end; his breathing is laboured and wheezing; one can hear the joints of his limbs twisting and cracking; he groans, he roars; his speech is entangled in broken sounds; at every moment his hands clap together, his feet stamp the ground; his whole demeanour is one of menace, his very being exudes it: a hideous and repulsive sight, this man who distorts and debases his noble countenance.

One then wonders whether such a vice is not even more grotesque than it is hateful. Other vices can be concealed, nourished in secret: anger, however, comes to the surface, shows itself on the face, and the stronger it is, the more it seethes and manifests itself.”

“Don’t go near the man in the red jacket and black hat.” 🖤🎩

Yewon shivered as she walked down the stairs leading to the convenience store owned by her aunt and uncle, who had taken her in after the death of her parents.

This was officially the last time she was accompanying her best friend on one of her crazy ideas.
Rima had begged her to come along to see a fortune teller.
Yewon had eventually given in.

The result?
A terrible prediction that she had never even asked for. 😭
“You’ll pay for this, Rima,” she grumbled as she jumped down the last few steps.
Then she stopped.
She hadn’t expected to find a man standing in the alley at this hour.
And suddenly, the fortune teller’s warning echoed in her mind:
“Don’t go near the man in the red jacket and black hat.”
Well… that was already too late. 👀

“You’re blocking the way,” the stranger pointed out.
Flustered — both by the prediction that had just come true and by the deep voice of the mysterious man standing before her — Yewon stammered an apology.
She quickly walked away, head lowered.
Then she turned back.

If she had known that this first encounter would mark the beginning of a dark romance, would she have followed the old woman’s warning?
No…
She would have run straight toward him.
Just to meet him sooner. 🖤

Guess who tried to use the printer until the very last possible moment… again? 😂🖨️

I was honestly so sad when I noticed the printing lines across this gorgeous background from Raven Reigns Designs. 🥲

I spent a good while lamenting over it and wondering whether some watercolor could hide the whole thing… 🤣🎨

And then, after staring at it for long enough, I thought…
Wait.

Maybe it’s actually not that bad. 😏

In fact, it gives the background a very paranormal activity kind of feeling — and honestly, that works perfectly because I wanted this corridor to feel haunted. 👻🖤

So instead of fighting the imperfect printing, I decided to embrace it and build the whole atmosphere around it: a dark corridor, a torture coffin, a girl holding a candle… and some very suspicious little creatures watching from the shadows. 👀🕯️💀

Sometimes the printing mistake becomes part of the story. 😏✨

Would you have tried to hide the lines, or would you have embraced the haunted atmosphere too? 👀

I’m going to be honest: it had been a while since I’d had this much fun making a collage. 🥹💚

The arrival of autumn and the changing weather haven’t exactly been helping my mood lately. And social media hasn’t helped either.

The algorithm constantly playing with our content and then suddenly ignoring it, engagement going down, a few negative comments that somehow manage to affect my mood more than I’d like… and, of course, the copycats and content thieves who continue doing their thing with seemingly no consequences. 😑

All these little things had slowly made me less excited about sitting down with my journal.

And then came this page.

It felt like a breath of fresh air. 🌧️✨

For the first time in a while, I stopped thinking about the algorithm, engagement, numbers or what people might think. I was just making a collage.
Creating a little world because I wanted to. For myself. Not for the algorithm.

And honestly? It felt really good. 🥰

Maybe that’s what I needed to remember: journaling started as something that made me happy, long before it became something I shared online.

So… maybe I am the one dancing in the rain after all. 🌧️💃🏻🌈

A new collaboration group has joined the adventure! 🌍✨

Yes… another one. 😅🤭

I’ve joined a new international collaboration group on TikTok, where every two weeks the participants create a page using only two colors. 🎨

And let me tell you… that limitation is going to be quite a challenge. 😂
When you’re used to having an entire stash of colors to play with, suddenly being told “pick two” feels a little cruel. 🤣

For today’s challenge, we have yellow and pink. 💛🩷
(And yes… YELLOW! Youhou! 💛😂)
For this page, I took inspiration from the beautiful backgrounds by @pocketartistry.shop , which I absolutely love. 😍✨

So… two colors, one page, and a whole lot of trying not to cheat with fifty shades of everything. 😂

A dangerous little story from the temple… 🖤🌙

The traveler’s cries had finally fallen silent.

Tomoe sat quietly, enjoying the onigiri she had found in the man’s bag. She had long since stopped feeling guilty about taking the belongings of the people she lured toward the oni. It had simply become part of her life.

The temple door slid open with a long, unsettling creak.
Tomoe immediately ran toward the demon, who was admiring the newest addition to his collection.

Ever since he had found her abandoned in the forest as a child, she had lost count of the human masks that had joined his collection. 🎭

“You worked very well,” he told her with a smile.
Tomoe blushed with pride when he gently ran his hand through her hair, as though rewarding her for a job well done. When he pulled his hand away, she frowned, visibly disappointed.

The demon chuckled softly before opening the folds of his haori, inviting her to curl up beside him.
He held her close, gently stroking her back.
And in his arms, Tomoe sighed contentedly.

For all the darkness surrounding them, she had never felt more loved… or more safe than there. 🖤

A strange little family, hidden inside a temple beneath the red moon. 🌙🎭
