Exodus 5:7-21

Moses obeys God and talks to Pharaoh.

Pharaoh basically says, "You have time to worship? Then you're not working hard enough."

So he takes away the straw needed to make bricks but still expects the same amount of work. The Israelites are stressed, exhausted and getting punished.

Then they look at Moses like:
"Bro, ever since you got here, our lives got worse." 😭

The takeaway: Sometimes doing God's will doesn't bring instant results. Sometimes things get harder before the breakthrough comes.

If I were to start a Charity ...

My motivation for starting a charity is rooted in mental health and the healing power of nature.

One of the ways I would love to contribute towards mental wellbeing is by building more green spaces where people and their pets can come to stroll after an exhausting work week.

These green spaces would have healthy food stalls selling fresh salads—and occasionally pastries too, because why not? 🫣 It would be a place where families can gather to stroll, sit, laugh, and just have a lighthearted time together.

Green spaces have personally been such a savior for me, and I feel so lucky that I have always been placed in serene environments.

If I started a charity, there would be no doubt about my mission: giving abandoned animals a second chance. 🐾🤍 Every dog and every cat deserves safety, love, and a place to call home. This page is dedicated to all the silent souls still waiting to be chosen.

Theme:
If I Started a Charity, what cause would I want to help or change in this world?

Let's continue to play with the idea that I won the lottery and my possibilities are endless....
I would create a safe haven for the cats, with full medical care, but they wouldn't have to live in cages. There would be a huge place for them, a real home, connected to a cozy library and cafe.
They would come in whenever they felt like it and they would leave whenever they want because cats are free spirits.And people could read with a cat in their lap, filled with positive energy and peace.
For every cup of coffee people would consume, they would support cats and there would be the possibility of adopting one .
I would like to organize creative workshops,art therapy for children with special needs including cat therapy....
and i would have so many more ideas.

This is my entry for Tuesday’s challenge hosted by dear E @journalwith_e 🤍

The theme was “If I started with charity…”
While I was creating this spread, the song “Golden” kept playing in my head. And later, Michael Jackson’s “Man in the Mirror” felt like the perfect song to carry the message even deeper.

Because in the end, each of us stands in front of our own mirror. Each of us has a choice. The world will not change by itself — it moves in the direction of the decisions we make, the kindness we choose, and the responsibility we are willing to take.

And somehow, just like HUNTR/X were protecting the world from demonic destruction, I felt like I was creating something meaningful too — something beautiful, something with value, at least to me.

I think this spread shows very clearly where my heart would lead me if I started with charity. I have loved cats and wild cats for as long as I can remember, but they are not the only animals I would want to protect. I would also want to help sea creatures and so many other living beings who cannot speak for themselves.

So many species are already gone. They no longer exist. And that thought breaks my heart. We are destroying our own world — and for what price?

I already try to support charity in the ways I can, and I truly hope the future will bring me even more opportunities to help and protect the many different creatures we share this planet with. Because this is something that makes sense to me. It is part of who I am.

Thank you so much for this beautiful and meaningful challenge. It gave me space to create from the heart. 🤍✨

Welcome to #tuesdayjournalchallenge by @journalwith_e on the topic ,If I could go anywhere in the world right now, where would my heart take me?

Given the intense heat and humidity here on the East Coast of India, I find myself dreaming of flying off to a quiet, undisclosed island surrounded by turquoise waters, alongside my friends or family.

Usually I prefer the peace of the countryside, the Indian summer has me craving for beach views and the sound of crashing waves.
