This has been an incredibly successful year for me as a coach and absolutely delighted to Receive Underage Coach of the year for the 2024/2025 season. I’m truly grateful for everyone that has been part of my journey this season.

I set goals at the start of the year for myself and my players, and we blew them out of the water — taking home trophies with the U18 Men’s doing the double, my U19 School Boys team @mounttemplesports72 winning the Dublin League, and my U20 team bringing home the biggest one of them all: the National Cup.

The @dundalkravens have been a major part of my life and have pushed me to be a better coach and person every day.

Everyone that knows me understands how important coaching is to me, and how much I care about the kids I coach. Without them, none of this would be possible.

I’m thankful for all the parents who trusted me with their kids and believed in me — even when I made some of them train 3–4 times a week! 😂

I’m truly blessed and grateful, and I’m excited to keep pushing and making this journey forward unforgettable for everyone‼️ by @journeyforward_coaching

Alongside 4Hoops, I had the opportunity to head coach my U16 Sligo squad in Nottingham!

The girls have worked so hard this summer, putting in two-a-day practices over the last couple of weeks to get ready for the season ahead. They came hungry and competed from the first game to the last, finishing the tournament 5-1, with our only loss coming by 6 points to the 4Hoops Select squad in a tight game🙏🏽

Having both my 4Hoops and Sligo teams make the final was a pretty unique experience but made for a great game and a fun memory to have with the girls😆

Off the court, we got to watch Nottingham Forest, do karaoke, arcades and finishing with an ice hockey game. After the summer of work, the girls deserved every bit of it🖤

So thankful to @fergaltkelly for keeping everything running smooth and listen to me give out😭 and to @babyjesus.pt , @melissa_mcgranaghan_ for taking care of the girls all week!!

So proud of this group and everything they’ve put in. I promised them the hard work wouldn’t go unnoticed, and slowly but surely, people are going to figure it out🖤🧡

Just wrapped up Year 2 with my 4Hoops gang!! this year, I had the opportunity to head coach the U16 4Hoops squad while also assisting with the U18 squad, and I genuinely had the greatest time🩷💜

Off the court definitely one of the funniest and entertaining groups I’ve been part of😭, always had me cracking up at something and the commitment to getting cookies regardless of the weather is admirable😂

On the court having the opportunity to coach so many high-level internationals is something I’m incredibly grateful for! Across both squads, we finished the tournament with a perfect 12-0 record and came home with Gold in both categories!🥇🥇

It’s not easy for a group of players to meet during a busy summer, come together so quickly, build chemistry, and compete at such a high level under new coaches so I couldn’t be prouder of these girls, I’m already missing my group and can’t wait for next summer🖤

A huge thank you to @danny_ayoade , @scallyelaine for allowing me to coach alongside you!! , and to @jaegyles and @braheopal of @4hoops.4her for trusting me to help lead these girls to the top🙏🏽

Until next summer, BigJah10 out🫡 #brahecantguardme #17-0

BALLYSHANNON💚💛

What an amazing week in Ballyshannon! One of the most energetic and charismatic groups we’ve come across!🔥

From start to finish, they had us cracking up and made sure the place was absolutely pumping with energy!!

With a big focus on having fun while developing through basketball, we feel every player left camp with some part of their game improved but most importantly, with a smile on their face!😁😆

Seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces throughout the camp is what made this experience so special for me and my team. We genuinely cannot wait to see everyone again throughout the season and of course possibly back in Ballyshannon next summer!!🤩

Until next time… Up Donegal!💚💛 (the kids told me to say this😭) taken in Ballyshannon by @journeyforward_coaching
