Snippets of our Italian Home project. We are getting so close to the finish line. Here are some moments captured while we spent December tucked away in the hinterlands of Liguria. It was really wonderful to start settling in and building the interiors that will make this place a real home. by @jovanidemetrie
Italy Project Update: We have walls! We spent a few weeks this summer traveling around Italy collecting vintage lighting fixtures, furniture, glassware, and art. The taps have all arrived from Marrakech. The tiles are sitting on pallets outside ready to be laid. Our Italy home is one step closer to completion. by @jovanidemetrie
A glimpse into our Italian Renovation project. • @anastasialange and I just wrapped up a week of fine-tuning the layout with our contractor. I wanted to document the space before the walls go up, so here are a few scenes from our latest visit. There is so much joy going into this space. by @jovanidemetrie
This past weekend @hummrestaurant opened its doors to the public. For the past 6 months, @anastasialange and I have been working with Chef @danielhumm and his team on documenting the creation of this restaurant. From the build out, to the dishes, to the art that fills the finished space, and now the energy of a full dining room (and a 15,000 person waitlist). It has been incredible to be a part of so many aspects coming to fruition. A huge congrats to Chef @danielhumm, Chef @dmitri_magi, and this truly impeccable team on creating a new jewel for New York City dining. • Extra shoutouts to @emset_, Head of marketing and all around wizard, and to @nicobopolis for the docu BTS video at the end of the post. • Art Direction & Styling: @anastasialange by @jovanidemetrie

Some recent work for @peterlugersteakhouse. • About 12 years ago I saw a tv show that featured the best steaks in America and highlighted the famous Peter Luger in Brooklyn. I was hooked. Never thought that one day I would be in their historic restaurant shooting for them. Highlights here are the new Lugar Lager collab with @threesbrewing, the porterhouse steak for 2, and the Luger’s Special “Holy Cow” Hot Fudge Sundae. Everything absolutely delicious. • @anastasialange with the hand modeling and assist. by @jovanidemetrie
