Wishing my dear, sweet, sweet friend and sister Gail the HAPPIEST BELATED BIRTHDAY!!! 🥳💕🎂

They say some people come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. Well, God was definitely shining His light on me when He brought Gail into mine! ❤️

Thank you for being my friend, my therapist (because Lord knows you deserve a paycheck for that one 😂), my Mahjong bestie, my confidante, and my WORK WIFE! 🤣 We sometimes fuss like an old married couple, only to burst into laughter moments later. And I wouldn’t have it any other way!

There is truly NO ONE like you! Thank you for answering every early morning and late-night call, entertaining all my crazy, harebrained ideas, knowing when to talk me off the ledge and when to say, “Girl, let’s do it!” 😂 And most of all, for trusting me and being down for the ride… MOST of the time! LOL!

But beyond all the laughter, adventures, and Mahjong, thank you for simply being YOU. You’re so much more than a friend. You’re FAMILY. ❤️

I love you, my sweet friend! I hope you felt every bit as loved, appreciated, and celebrated this week. If anyone deserves ALL the flowers, it’s YOU! 💐🀄️ (mahjong humor 🤣) Happy Belated Birthday, Gail! 🥂💕🀄️😘 by @jovann_walker

Sold before it ever hit the market.

This Turtle Creek home is officially sold, and the entire transaction happened off market, with The Agency Dallas representing both sides of the transaction.

Realtor Jovann Walker represented the seller, while Broker/Owner Damon Williamson represented the buyer, creating a true in-house, double-ended transaction through The Agency Dallas.

Through strategic brokerage-wide exposure, The Agency Dallas network, and pre-listing marketing tools, the opportunity was connected with the right buyer before a public listing was ever necessary.

The result: a successful off-market sale, with both the buyer and seller represented in-house, without the home ever being publicly listed.

That’s the power of an interconnected brokerage and a strategic off-market approach.

At The Agency Dallas and Damon Williamson Group, we help Dallas homeowners determine when an on-market or off-market strategy makes sense and how to leverage relationships, technology, marketing, and a global network to create opportunities before a property reaches the public market.

📍 Turtle Creek, Dallas, TX
5 bedrooms | 4.5 baths | Pool & Spa | Directly on Turtle Creek

I’m still trying to find the words for what happened in Charleston. 🤍

Luxury in the Lowcountry started as a vision in my heart—bringing women together through this game that has given me so much, in a beautiful place, for a weekend filled with connection, laughter, friendship and, of course, a whole lot of Mahjong.

And somehow, what happened last weekend was even more beautiful than I imagined. There is something incredibly emotional about watching something you dreamed about become real. Seeing women travel from near and far, friendships forming across Mahjong tables, laughter filling the rooms, and so many beautiful moments unfolding around me was everything.

But a vision is only a vision until people believe in it.

To the incredible team who stood beside me and worked tirelessly to help bring my vision to life—THANK YOU. You carried boxes, moved tables, solved problems, welcomed guests and handled countless details behind the scenes. I saw you, I appreciated you, and I’m incredibly grateful for each of you.

To our sponsors, partners and vendors who believed in Mahjong Retreat Co. and what I was building—thank you for saying YES and helping make this weekend so special.

And to every woman who purchased a ticket, booked a room, boarded a plane, packed her tiles and trusted me with her weekend—thank you. 🤍 You could have spent your time anywhere, and you chose to spend it with us. I will never take that for granted.

When I started teaching Mahjong, I never imagined where this journey would take me. What began around a Mahjong table has become something so much bigger than the game itself.

It’s community. It’s connection. It’s friendship. It’s belonging.

And that is what I want Mahjong Retreat Co. to always be about.

I’ll forever remember the women, the laughter, the hugs, the friendships—and that moment when I looked around the room and thought…

We did it. 🤍

Charleston, you will forever hold a special place in my heart. 🤍🀄️✨

With love & gratitude,
Jovann
