There are still goals I haven’t reached, places I haven’t been, and things I’m still working toward. But when I look back at where I was three years ago, I realize just how much has changed.

The prayers got answered. The sacrifices meant something. The long nights weren’t wasted. The setbacks didn’t stop the story.

I’m still hungry. Still building. Still becoming.

But I’m also learning to appreciate the life I worked so hard to create. taken in Ciel-מתחם קונספט כינורות by @jovenn___

In the last decade, I’ve crossed off every goal I once wrote down on a vision board. Every plan, every dream, every milestone I thought would finally make me feel complete. But what nobody ever talks about is what happens after—when you’ve achieved it all, and somehow… you still feel like something’s missing.

That was the part of the journey I never saw coming.

So instead of celebrating life with noise last year, I went quiet. On my 30th birthday, I created a new vision board not based on money or milestones, but on what brings me peace. What brings me joy. What would simply make me happy.

Most men never get the chance to figure out what truly makes them happy because they’re stuck in the cycle of providing. And somewhere along the way, I started doing that instead of providing for myself.

So this past year I gave myself permission to slow down. To breathe. To enjoy. To stop fighting to survive and finally start living. For the first time, I’m not just proud of what I’ve built but proud of who I’ve become while building it.

And I wouldn’t have made it here alone. To everyone who showed up for me not just for my birthday, but for my growth. To those who helped me shift my mindset from survival to abundance. To those who reminded me that I don’t have to carry it all alone. Some of y’all flew from across the country. Some from from other countries. Others drove up after a 14 hour shift and continue to go out of their way to show up for me in ways I’ll never forget.

And now today, for the first time, “happiness” finally gets a place on the board too.

Here’s to another decade this time, fully present, and finally happy of myself and the life I created. taken in Washington D. C. by @jovenn___

A few years ago, I could have never imagined my life looking like this. Now, I get to share some of the most beautiful places in the world with people I love while creating opportunities for others to build lifelong memories and relationships of their own.

Between planning, coordinating, problem solving, and making sure everyone has the experience they deserve, there wasn't much time to sit still. But somewhere between the airports, ferries, the rented out restaurants and wineries, the late nights, early mornings, and unforgettable moments, I realized how blessed I truly am.

This year, I brought 60 incredible people from all over the country together to euro step through Greece. And while I’m exhausted, my heart is full.

I’m grateful that I get to experience life like this alongside my best friends. The same people who have seen me at my highest highs and lowest lows. The people who continue to support the vision, challenge me, and remind me why I started all of this in the first place.

I’m equally thankful for the new friendships that were created on this trip. Watching strangers become friends, friends become family, and seeing people find genuine connections across different cities, backgrounds, and walks of life will never get old to me. That has always been the real purpose behind everything we do.

Everything you want in life is possible.

Stay intentional. Stay patient. Stay faithful. Keep showing up even when nobody is clapping for you yet. Keep working when nobody sees it. Keep believing when the outcome isn’t clear.

One day you’ll look around and realize the life you prayed for is the life you’re living. taken in Mykonos, Greece by @jovenn___

The second picture was taken nearly 10 years ago to date and if you would have asked me back then where I’d be today, I couldn’t have even imagined my life going the way that it is now.

- Certified Chief Information Officer (CIO) fulfilling the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996 to manage government information technology systems
- Certified Information Warfare Officer
- Certified Cryptologic Warfare Officer
- National Security Agency Military Member of the Quarter Award Recipient 2022
- Computer Network Operations Military Member of the Quarter Award Recipient 2022
- USCYBERCOM Military Member of the Quarter Award Recipient 2021
- Engagement & Policy Military Member of the Quarter Award Recipient 2020

No matter what endeavor I’ve gone through in my life, I am the man I am today because of the hardships that I've had to endure and face. My struggles and undeniable determination have taken me from being homeless to being the second African American at Coastal Carolina University to graduate with a degree in Applied Physics concentrated in Engineering Science and a minor in Applied Mathematics. To being a Cryptologic Warfare Officer and one of the few to graduate Summa Cum Laude from the Naval Post Graduate School in Cyberspace Security Management and Acquisitions.

I have honestly traveled further than I could have ever dreamed of and in such a way that I can one day take care of my future family and help support others, contrary to how I was not supported. I took the hardest possible route that you could take, and I still overcame and succeeded.

To keep it short, life isn’t about winning or losing, it’s about living and learning. So needless to say, you should never limit the expectations you have on yourself or settle for anything less than what you are truly capable of achieving.

CREATING SNOWDAZE | EPISODE ONE

A behind the scenes look at what it really takes to create SnowDaze with @richershots

This past year was absolutely amazing, and somehow every year we continue to grow and push this thing a little further.

Three years ago, SnowDaze started with just 25 people.

The second year, 130.

Last year, 280.

This year, we’re bringing 400 people to the mountains.

None of this happens overnight and none of it happens because of one person. It takes our entire team to bring this experience to life.

There are setbacks. There are long days. There’s a lot of fun. There are arguments. There are disagreements. There are last minute changes and plenty of moments where we’re literally figuring it out as we go.

But once everything comes alive and we see hundreds of people on the mountain having a phenomenal time, it makes absolutely everything worth it for us.

Crazy to think this started as a group of friends just trying to see the world together.

Now it’s a full blown business.

And we’re still growing.

Welcome to Creating SnowDaze.

People are going to support who they want to, lock in and get yours, focusing on what you can’t control isn’t it.

Officially in my quiet era. I don't have much to say, just a lot to do.

On my birthday this year, I made a choice: to fast, to sit in silence, to pray, and to ask God for clarity on my next steps. In that stillness, I had a vision—of this exact home. Of locking in and conquering some of the most challenging certifications. Of getting back into the gym. Of our businesses thriving. Of finally putting myself first, instead of seeking to please others.

The past four months, I stepped back from social media and distractions. I stopped going out. I did the deep inner work to find peace, and that work has been life-changing. This season has been about transformation—shifting my life into one of true abundance.

When I started my home search, I didn’t just want an investment. I wanted a space that was mine—a place where I could wake up every day and feel inspired. I dreamed of a balcony where I could reflect, a home to host the friends who have become my family, and a sanctuary where I could continue to grow. I prayed for this, and God delivered.

All praises due. Here's to transformation, gratitude, and building a life that feels like home. taken in Washington D. C. by @jovenn___

SnowDaze 2026,

I’m so grateful I stayed intentional to my dreams.
Grateful that I stayed resilient.
Grateful that I stayed consistent with what I said this brand would always stand for even when it would’ve been easier to fold, water down the experience, or play it small.

Because it wasn’t easy.
There were roadblocks at every stage. Companies that wouldn’t work with us. Sponsors that pulled back. Doors that closed right when it felt like they were finally opening.

But I learned early that obstacles are part of the process, not a sign to stop.
So instead of folding, I adjusted. I pivoted. I found another lane and I protected the vision.

When everything was finally over, I had to take a full week away from social media just to really process what we pulled off. Our fourth SnowDaze trip almost broke the internet… and not in all the ways I hoped. There were racist and ignorant comments, and I won’t pretend that didn’t hurt. Especially coming from people who have no idea how much intentionality, time, sacrifice, and personal money went into creating this experience.

If I added up the true hours I poured into this, I’d probably be at a loss.

This was the most stressful trip I’ve ever planned with nearly 300 people, nonstop problem-solving, constant pressure and somehow, it was also the most fulfilling.

I left with real connections, powerful feedback, and more love than I can even put into words. And now, trips going into 2027 are already being booked. That still feels unreal to say out loud.

Sometimes it only takes one event.
One season.
One moment where everything finally clicks.

So if I ever read this back in a season where I’m tired, misunderstood, or questioning if it’s worth it let this be the reminder, just keep going. Because sometimes the only difference between success and “what could’ve been” is simply that you didn’t stop.

And I’m proud of myself for not stopping.
Simply proud that I stayed in it long enough to see what I planted years ago finally grow.

So much of our environment is just an outward manifestation of our thoughts.

These past few months have been surreal; Eastern Europe, Greece, Mexico, Canada, Qatar, South America, Dubai, and now Indonesia. Every destination, every person I’ve crossed paths with, and every breathtaking moment has been beyond anything I could have imagined.

After nearly three years in this entrepreneurial game, the biggest lesson I’d share with anyone starting out is this: stop measuring yourself against others. Comparison steals from your journey. Some of my greatest growth didn’t come from the wins, it came from the failures.

Never forget: seeds of abundance only grow in soil that’s prepared. Condition your mind, your habits, and your spirit—and manifest the things that you want and they will come bigger than you ever pictured. taken in Nusa Penida Island by @jovenn___

The scoreboard speaks enough for itself.

I’ve learned that success isn’t just about money, titles, followers, or accomplishments. It’s about freedom.

The freedom to create memories with your friends. The freedom to show your parents parts of the world they’ve never seen. The freedom to wake up in one city handling business and end the night in another making memories you’ll talk about for years.

It’s about not needing anything from anyone. Not needing permission. Not needing validation. Not needing someone else to make your goals, experiences, or happiness possible.

There was a time when experiences like this felt a world away. Now they’re just part of the calendar and for that, I'm forever grateful. taken in Fontainebleau Las Vegas by @jovenn___

Swiss time ticking but I’m off the clock. 🇨🇭

Have you ever just stopped for a second, looked around, and really sat in it… like how did I even get here? Not in a bragging way, just genuine disbelief and gratitude. The kind where all you can do is thank God for the position you’re in, because you know there were seasons where this didn’t even feel possible.

Dreams don’t have to be exclusive. They don’t have to feel out of reach or reserved for a certain type of person. The best dreams are the ones people can actually step into, build from, and make real in their own lives.

This whole trip has been one of those moments for me. I didn’t plan a single thing. I let @softlifeski handle everything and just allowed myself to be present. And somehow I’m out here in Switzerland, ripping through the Alps on a random week with my best friends, really living something that used to just be an idea. I couldn’t have mapped this out if I tried.

And what really hit me, I couldn’t have imagined a life where I’m having business meetings by day and partying in the Alps by night, surrounded by so many young professionals all leveling up in real time. That balance, that environment, that energy is different.

Lately, I’ve been moving through life at my own pace. Not rushing, not forcing anything, just experiencing it for what it is. And in that space, I’ve realized how much of a blessing it is to even have the freedom to pause, reflect, and realign. A few years ago, this version of life was just a thought. Now I’m walking in it. taken in Ski Resort Laax, Switzerland by @jovenn___
