JEFFERY ARON BURNSIDE

My little boy, Jeffery Burnside passed away suddenly October 17, 2025 at his home in Chicago, Illinois. He was 40 years old and the father of three beautiful young children whom he loved dearly. Born July 8, 1985 he grow up in Jackson, Wyoming.

Jeffery was loved by all and had and made many friends throughout his life. He always made people laugh, smile and always was a jokester. He was kind, loving, considerate of others and their needs.

Jeffery was a devoted husband and father to his three wonderful children, he loved them with all his heart and soul. He loved playing with his kids. He loved his family in Wyoming and would help out and support them in anyway he possible could. We will miss your giant bear like hugs, Jeffery.

Jeffery was a hard worker, loved music and his sports, he like bowling and his WWF wrestling. He loved his Chicago Cubs and Bears. He was fun loving and always smiled and made others laugh too.

He will be greatly missed by us all, no words can express and explain how we all feel about Jeffery’s passing. I as his mother, will miss his phone calls, texts and video call of him and the kids calling me to check in sometimes daily. I will always love you “My Rabbit” my sweet little boy.

At the time of Jeffery death, he was survived by his parents, Jovern Burnside-Smith, his father Richard Roman of California, his wife, Nicole, his three children, Harvey, Nova and Fitz Burnside of Highwood, Illinois. His aunts and uncles Jimmy and Theresa Burnside of Jackson, Affie and Dennis Ellis and Phyllis and Dave Getz of Cheyenne, Wyoming. And his cousins, Jason Burnside, Sammie Getz, Marlo, Archie and Lindy Ellis. He was proceeded in death by his grandma and grandpa Jim and Lenora Burnside and his cousin Jennifer Burnside all from Jackson.

We love you Jeffery and we will never forget you in our hearts and you will be in our thoughts forever… by @jovernburnside

Spent a wonderful afternoon with my dear aunt Mary in Bernolio, New Mexico.

She was in good spirits and was so grateful for our time together. She’s my Mom’s little sister, the last of the Buck family line living.

I’m so thankful for her in my life and for what she did for our family. by @jovernburnside
