It was so great to co-lead Dance into Joy with my dear friend Jurian at Kripalu. I had such a beautiful time in the Berkshires. Thank you to all who came and danced with us. It was such an unforgettable weekend. @kripalucenter @jurianhughes @maludoherty @jeffcostafitness by @jovinnachan

We danced, we laughed, we cried a bit, we danced a whole lot more, we gathered with old friends and made some new ones.

Time spent with @jovinnachan is always magic, in the classroom, on the dance floor, and off. I’d like to think that we bring out the best in each other and that that energy expands out to embrace whomever we’re with, creating a generous space that is playful, brave, tender and full of connection.

We’ll do it again, God willing! Look for us next April at Kripalu. More info to come soon. In the meantime, stay in touch here and see what’s coming up for us on our websites, jovinna.com and jurianhughes.com

We look forward to dancing with you soon!

Wherever you are, we hope you’ll get up today and dance a little joy into your life.

We’re totally vibing with this hit of joy on this wintry day. No matter the season, there is always room for joy 🧡

And, what better way to feel joy than by dancing into it?

On April 17-19 the dynamic duo of Jurian Hughes @jurianhughes and Jovinna Chan @jovinnachan will help you lift your spirits and “Dance Into Joy” through their heart-filled practice of dancing— tapping into wisdom that transcends the thinking brain.

From the whirling dervish to the Shakers, the waltz to the rave, this experience is just what you need to let loose, discover new energy, and refresh your body.
