โœฏ Boys of Tommen series โœฏ By Chloe Walsh .THIS SERIES IS EVERYTHING. From the very first moment I started reading Binding 13 I knew it would be amazing, but also heartbreaking. From Johnny and Shannon like the river, to Stud and his Queen, then Gerard and Claire-bear and finally Hughie Lizzie โค๏ธ my babies deserve SO much better but I'm so happy that Shannon and Joey got their happy endings. Now it's Gibsie's and Lizzie's turn. All the stories were so worth it but also so sad. I really liked it though, how Chloe Walsh didn't romanticize any kind of abuse, something that is rather common in other books that have to do with severe trauma. โ€ผ๏ธPotential spoliers aheadโ€ผ๏ธ From the Lynch's children abuse, to Joey's addiction, Shannon's and Joey's s*icidal thoughts, Johnny's, Gibsie's and Lizzie's sa, Gibsie's and Lizzie's grief to Lizzie's Sh and then Aoife's post pregnancy depression. These characters have gone through SO MUCH ๐Ÿฅบ It's clear that the author wants to spread a very strong message through these books as we see really complex characters (not only the main ones but also family of theirs, for example Marie Lynch) and their relationships with each other. I was thinking how it all started when Johnny hit Shannon with the rugby ball, but for the core 5 it all started years earlier. โค๏ธ I love all the couples so much!! I think tho, that okay we all have favorites, Johnny and Shannon (for me) but also Joey's and Aoife's story?! Omggg and Gibsie with Claire โค๏ธ ok tbh releasing 10 was pure emotional abuse, but as someone that can see through Lizzie I'm so sorry for her. Her reaction towards Gibsie is not excused, she still needs to apologize for her behavior but I can see why she would act like that. Tbh I liked how Walsh didn't write the sh part like Lizzie is some kind of monster, that it was her reaction to trauma and her pain. And Hugh. WE ALL NEED A HUGHIE IN OUR LIFE. ๐Ÿซ‚ I need the remaining books asap and also I have a feeling that Patrick's story will be really interesting? Folk of the air series, literally the best faerie story I've read โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿฉน๐Ÿซ‚ I really thought I had done a post about this series but as I was looking back I didn't find anything. So here it is!! I'll post each book individually too but this is the whole thing! Gosh, if you know me, you know how much I LOVE this series. Legend is the best book boyfriend ever and yes, Scarlett with Julian are amazing but Tella and Legend OWN my heart. It's true that the Santos brothers are the absolute standard for me ๐Ÿ’˜ If I'm not mistaken, I first read the Caraval series while in quarantine in the COVID-19 period. At this time I found reading lame and not cool and I hadn't read anything for a long time. Then I saw Caraval and decided to give it a try and I fell in love. Since then, it remains my number 1 favorite series ever!! I've waited for a fourth book for so long and when I got Spectacular in my hands I was THE happiest person in the whole world ๐Ÿฅน I absolutely loved Spectacular!!!! Soooooo much. To be honest I didn't even read the synopsis on the back before buying it, I just knew it was a Christmas novela! The vibes, seeing them once more happy and of course the letter ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿป I don't want to say anything more in order not to spoil for anyone that hasn't read it yet, but goshhh I loved it so much!! Also I loved how we saw more of the brotherhood between Legend and Julian!! Legend will always have a special place in my heart, I meann the man gave up his immortality for Tella โค๏ธ Now, that I've seen my favorite couples once more I think it's finally time for me to finish the Once upon a broken heart series. I've read the first book and the ballad of never after is waiting for me to pick it up on my bookshelf! I really think I've got nothing more to say At first tho, it got a bit confusing for me at some parts because it had sooo many descriptions and I read the last book a while ago, but overall I fell in love once more with these characters. Kenji's pov wow and the scenes between him and Nazeera were to die for I love them sooo muchh Aaron is THE standard. The plot is really well built and the story had this fast pace that kept me staying up all night cuz I couldn't sleep ๐Ÿ˜ญ the ending was unexpected for me as it thought they were going to be caught... I actually felt sorry for Adrienne because i think she didn't deserve such an ending... Alchemy of Secrets review ๐Ÿ’— 4/5 โญ This was one of my most exciting reads so far this year๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿผ @stephanie_garber has done it again and I instantly fell in love! it was fast paced and captivating in a way that I literally couldn't put it down! Holland was an unexpected character, but from the very first moment I had no doubt I would end up loving her and I did! Although some chapters confused me a bit, in the end everything came clear. I have to say tho I didn't like Adam from the start, I don't know exactly why but I had the feeling he was hiding stuff. From Lukov with love review ๐Ÿฉต 5/5 โญ He kept calling her baby when he was worried about her, while they weren't even dating ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿ˜ญ This man raised my standards SO much I had this book on my bookshelf waiting for over 2 years and honestly it had never occurred to me why I hadn't read it but as exams season's here I had to do something instead of studying of course ๐Ÿ˜‚ so here it is! I loved these characters with my whole heart ๐Ÿฉท I loved Jasmine's passion about ice skating but also her somewhat fierce and dynamic character. It's different from what we usually see in books. Ivan was a total cutie, the man was completely in love from the very start but honestly I would have loved seeing his pov at some scenes.
