When I got to Canada, I wasn't sure about a lot but I was sure that I would commit to teaching about tech. I researched organisations and joined Connected Canadians to volunteer.

My schedule changed in January so, I committed weekends and after hours to this. I wasn't expecting anything tbh but it seems all that efforr was been observed.

It's funny how much I've gotten from giving.

Today is Chinese New Year - Year of the Dragon
I left just before the celebrations but you could feel it in the air. China is still fresh in my mind. A lot learnt, so much more seen.

Was supposed to read these over 3 months but I surprised myself in one. Guess I needed an escape. I've started these at least twice but never finished more than once. Unsolicited thoughts in no order.

1. Financial Explosion in China - Great if you don't mind academic lingo and Fintech. Personal read for me and recommended for any operator in the sector.

2.Condoms and other stories - Excellently delivered summary of Nigeria in a satiric manner. You'll laugh.

3. Men Don't Die - This was an old Nollywood script. The ridiculousness was funny. Not particularly recommended.

4. Psychology of Money - The first and last two chapters are fine for you to decide. People don't significantly change.

5. Naval's Almanack - Not entirely a sit down and read book. More like pick up occasionally and reflect.
