After 28 years, hundreds of early starts, emergency button-sewing, and nearly 2,000 beautiful brides later… I’m officially stepping away from weddings.

It’s been an incredible journey and a real privilege to be part of so many people’s big days. I’ve laughed, cried, calmed nerves, fixed bouquets, and yes, rescued more than one pair of false lashes from near disaster. Thank you to every single bride and bridal party who trusted me with your faces (and sometimes your sanity) over the years.

But this isn’t me retiring, far from it. I’m just shifting gears. I’ll be focusing on writing beauty editorials and product reviews, teaching makeup lessons, and working on makeup for events, short films, and TV and commercial projects.

And I’d quite like to go to a wedding and eat the canapés without checking my kit bag every five minutes.

Here's to the next chapter, and I’m really excited about it. Thank you again for all the love and support—you’ve made it unforgettable.

This is so me! I always gravitate towards black clothing. To me, it is colourful 🤣
I have mostly black clothes, but since 2020, I've added lots more brights to my wardrobe to wear!!

Do you love a red lipstick? I've started wearing red lip colour a lot more. It really makes a huge difference to my face especially when I'm not wearing any other makeup. Plus this matte shade lasts for hours, even after eating and drinking!

Today I went to the launch of @bellavita_uk in @bootsuk at @batterseapwrstn
The Honey fragrance is a best seller but honestly I was blown away by how amazing all of the fragrances smelt.

It was so difficult to choose a favourite because they are all so lovely. But i settled on Rose because it reminded me of my Mum ❤️ i think I will layer it with the original honey oud.

Lovely to see @bigafrodiva @emmajrutherford and @goldyloxxroxx ❤️❤️

The fragrances are such great value for money too. No wonder they have gone viral.

After someone applied an orange tone blush on me last week I am starting to wear it regularly.

This is the @flavedo.beauty Dew Tint in the shade Toffee. It's one of their Bestselling products.
I absolutely love it and it's so quick and easy to apply. The pigment is amazing and it's buildable

I had the best hair salon experience yesterday @duckanddry salon for the @cwhairlondon Menoplex x @cloudninehair event. I had a shampoo and hair treatment followed by a wonderful scalp treatment using the Menoplex range. My stylist @louisdoeshair is so fricking EPIC! He's my new best mate ❤️

I also saw the lovely @dressedtothemax and @mscarolinesimpson having their hair done and they looked amazing too!

I can honestly say that my hair still feels amazing on day too. Super soft and no itchy scalp. The Cloud Nine diffuser is amazing and so are their hair products which I will talk about in depth in another post.

Me time is so important:

What a wonderful day I had yesterday relaxing and catching some rays. Thanks to my bestie @les_leydevlin for this treat. I went to @nirvanaspa.official which is local to me. I couldn't have picked a better day to go.

I used all of the spa facilities except for the Flotation room. The hydrotherapy massage is worth having. It's a 20 minute massage that you can customise for your body. Towels and robe are included but bring your flip flops.

Then I opted for the salad bar lunch. It was great value. There are pools outside but I didn't get a chance for a dip in those.

I change my lip colour with the seasons. There is always room for a red. But this brick red shade Price Street by @lauramercier makes it more in the autumnal tones. And I'm here for that.

I love wearing something on my lips and when you find a colour you live you'll wear it on repeat.
