Last month, I spoke as a mentor for two “Ask the Expert” workshops hosted by @startupcanada Women in Business and Startup Growth.

A few things stayed with me:
• Sometimes the biggest thing holding us back is ourselves — the overthinking, self-doubt, and fear of getting it wrong. We need to spend less time living in our heads and more time taking action. Try the idea, take the risk, pivot if needed — but don’t let fear be the reason you never begin.
• There is no perfect moment. You simply have to decide to start living your life now. Time is precious, and no day comes back twice.
• Coming from a small place doesn’t mean your dreams have to stay small. Where you start does not define how far you can go. Take the chance anyway — you never know where it could lead you.
• Everyone starts somewhere. Keep learning, keep showing up, and give yourself more credit for how far you’ve already come.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat — whether we spoke about branding, marketing, business growth, or navigating the ups and downs of building something for yourself. I truly loved every conversation.
