This ain’t Texas, but we brought even more southern hospitality to Cape G for S&T!
What an honor and privilege to produce a helluva wedding for them, in the relaxed and approachable environment that didn’t compromise on style.

New Year...New Name...New Energy.

We quietly celebrated 8 years in business last year. By quiet, I mean I let the milestone pass by without the slightest bit of acknowledgment.
My reflection on this previous wedding season prompted this post - it is perhaps the milestone worth celebrating.
Last year held a high honor as a wedding planner- creating memories with siblings of former clients and sending even more Mizzou Alums down the aisle. These are the referrals that I hold especially dear because it means seeing familiar faces and names when I review the guest lists. It also means that they’ve experienced the service and trust to support it a g a i n.

It’s truly a milestone I don’t take for granted.
Cheers to a fresh start and remembering why I started.

Thank you all for your support and love over the years!

Mentally I’m still here.
In November we made a site visit to the beautiful @grandvelasnay and were floored by the hospitality, views, and genuine care.

Stay tuned…

Embracing the sleek elegance of mirrored elements, personalized details, heavy candles and structural florals throughout the design, we were able to achieve a distinctive and upscale celebration for Jesse’s 40th Birthday.

Mirror, mirror, on the…BAR! 🩶🪞

Although not a “drinker”, Jesse shared that he does not like long lines at bars. From a design & logistical standpoint, this meant we’d need a bar large enough (and staff) to accommodate 130 guests. But of course the color had to coordinate as well!

Swipe for concept to reality, custom painted (grey) 30ft bar with mirror panels & acrylic branding designed exclusively for @jspujji

Thank you @decorumeventsstl & @netteworks.design for accommodating our custom requests and exchanging countless emails and calls. You are appreciated! 🫶🏾

Lounge vignettes are a practical, comfortable, and chic spot for guests to sit back, relax, and mingle. A lounge area will offer guests a reprieve from the action…a break from drinking and dancing, where they can plop themselves on the couch to rest their legs, recharge their social battery, or observe the celebrations from afar.

When given the opportunity, creating lounge vignettes are always a good idea! Especially when masculine & sexy like these. ☺️

“Joyce, we go to events all the time with the same chicken, potato, and veggie. We’d like something different.”
