Happy Monday! Today I want to introduce my very first program created under Bee Free Farm. It is the SUNNY SIDE UP Chick Hatching Program🐣
7 months ago, I had no idea how schools/ teachers/ principals or even friends & family would receive my vision. I still chose to believe in what I felt like I was led to do. Go into our community and create young growers by introducing them to agricultural sustainability practices. We can't afford for them to wait until adulthood to be introduced to "Growing Their Own". I have accepted the role that I must play in this, and to my great surprise, it has been received with much excitement. I am so grateful that friends and family have supported Sunny Side Up through financial contributions, supplies, and words of encouragement!!!!
In September, I was able to install my first hatch at Whitefoord Early Learning Academy (WELLA). Shout out to their wonderful Pre-K administration and staff!!!!!!!!!!!!
It has been ON ever since, and I am currently taking deposits or fully paid reservations for upcoming hatch installations. According to the Georgia K-2 standards, THE LIFE CYCLE unit begins in February. Sunny Side Up is the perfect 3 week in house program to provide a relevant and engaging experience for young scholars. The program is also designed for middle and high school classrooms as well.

About-a-week-ago........
Move in Day happened, and it was a success! Jayce settled in for freshman week @ HIS ownHBCU,
CLAFLIN UNIVERSITY. It takes a village, and we are thankful for ours!

Sometimes, all you have to do is just SHOW UP!
When I registered for this 19th annual HBCU 5k run, I had no idea what would be in store for my child today.
$500 scholarship from @atlantalife
$1,500 Norfolk State Atlanta Alumni scholarship winner praise 🙌🏽

THE WALK ACROSS THE GRADUATION STAGE 🙌🏽
YOU DID IT, JAYCE!
Graduation day was a wonderful feeling, vibe, moment, and celebration!! With it being held at such an honorable place, it represented BLACK EXCELLENCE IT.
Jayce's graduation day was more than I could ask for.
Graduation day was a joyous occasion where our village came together to see the fruits of their labor.
THANK YOU VILLAGE!!
Graduation day was full of Granna Gerry being proud of the foundation she laid as a self-made woman.
Graduation day was a day for 'The Daddy' @steebands to exhale after seeing his 5th son receive his high school diploma 👏🏽 🙌🏽
Graduation day was full of gratitude and praise to God for giving me the strength to keep being the mother I've needed to be for each son. Never giving up.

DECISION DAY 2026
Started with a ChatGPT search "HBCU's with VideonGame Design and a Baseball Team"....
We visited a few of the results in the fall, but there was something about the energy of the people on the Claflin University campus when we arrived. More importantly, there was something about Jayce's demeanor as he started his Claflin tour on that cool November day. HE made the decision on that day. Not many of our schools have a Game Design option, but Claflin has been intentional about investing in their program over the last few years. 🖥 👨🏾‍💻 🎮
