A Million Hugs and Kisses by Lulu Mayo is the cutest book ❤️💛❤️

My grandmother, Nonny, made me a yellow and red calico quilt when I was young, it is such a beautiful cozy quilt, so much love and care went into each stitch❤️💛❤️When I started coloring this page I was thinking about her; the quilt, a little bit of Nonny and a little bit of me all came out on the page❤️💛❤️

What is your gold? The gold you chase? #chasinggold is the prompt that Dayna @daydreams.in.color challenged the group with this month for #coloringrjhampson2026

My gold? A good book, and another good book, and another one📚 I was told once that I am a bookworm and a bookdragon. If you have a good book recommendation let me know, I am always looking for new ideas📚💙

This RJ Hampson illustration, A Good Book, is a printout from his monthly newsletter. So adorable, and perfect for this challenge🥰 Also, it has a cutie pie dragon for #marchofthedragons hosted by @zooveraart yay!🐉

The stained glass tripped me up, this is passable, but I am eager to try again on another page. Also, the face 🤦‍♀️ I tried to make a gold glowing effect from the book onto the face. In my head it was marvelous, not so much on the page, it was honestly horrible 😜😂 The face was the last thing and the page would be complete, Ack! Anyway, I printed another page, colored just the face, NOT trying the glowing business, cut out the new face and glued it on top of the original, whew 😅

It was a fun page to color, the wonderful imagination in the illustration made my heart happy💙

I love Mara’s soft color pallet, it sings Spring to me🌸 Thank you so much for buddying with me🌸 I was in Valentine’s mode when I colored my page and was all about the pinks and reds❤️💗❤️💗

🤍As light crested the mountain the dew took its turn to dance and dazzle,
It showed and shone its appreciation for life and the gentle breeze,
The drop paired its waltz with the blades that sang across the glade and their flowers,
As the morning moved, so did the life of the glade in its shape,
The forms of the fae took the place of nature,
The sun brought a cascade of activity as the moon faded from view,
A distant memory too the wild things that were then deep in slumber their symphony lost in the warm of the morning,
Wing beats large and small echoed as drums to the rustling leaves that make up the strings,
The heat of noon shook free water into the air from the clouds that glided through the air over the dance below and refreshed the swell of jubilation,
The joyful exaltation of creatures under the rinsing renewal changed their tune to match the ever-shifting rain upon the landscape,
So went the cycle of days in the land never before or ever to be seen.

I had such a great time coloring these three troublemakers for the ‘Time’ prompt in #coloringrjhampson2026 challenge hosted by @daydreams.in.color

It made me giggle that the page is called midnight mayhem and most of the coloring was done in the middle of the night🤭

What a wonderful fairy buddy color with two fabulous women💗@colorandcreatewithjana and @paulineartstuff in our Mythographic Voyage books by Joseph Catimbang

It was complete fun to color with and get to know one another. I loved the way they both colored their pages, Jana ‘s orange dress pops and makes for a stunning page🧡, Pauline colored her page so delicately, I don’t know how she made her colors so soft, It is like a gentle breeze.
Thank you both for coloring with me and for your kind patience while I worked through life stuff and finally completed this.
