POSTS STORIES REELS

POV: You spend 400 pages picturing a character a certain way, only for the book cover to introduce you to a completely different person. 😭📚

WHY are we giving characters a whole new appearance on the cover when the author has already described them?! I have a very specific image of these characters in my head, and I'm not afraid to be picky about it. 😂

A little consistency is all I'm asking for. Is that really too much? 🤦🏼‍♀️

Tell me I'm not the only one who gets personally offended when the character covers don't match the book descriptions. 👀

@jennifer_l_armentrout named my cat after your character. Also the series that made you my favorite author!

🚩 Can we talk about how disturbing it is to read explicit sex scenes involving characters who are CHILDREN or under 18? Because honestly, I find it disgusting, and it’s even more concerning when the book is marketed toward children or younger teens.

There is a difference between teaching young readers about relationships, consent, and boundaries and including explicit sexual content involving underage characters. And when a book is supposedly meant for a younger audience, I think we need to have a serious conversation about what we’re normalizing and presenting as appropriate reading material.

I tried to give this book a chance, but when a character exposed himself, that was my final straw. I couldn’t continue reading. This was an immediate DNF for me. 🚫📚

Books can tackle difficult topics without needing to include explicit scenes involving minors. Am I the only one who feels this way, or do we need to be having more honest conversations about age-appropriate content in books? 👀👇

Romantasy girlies, I need answers. 🖤📚

You can only choose ONE:

🖤 A - The morally grey king who would burn the world for you.

🥀 B - The terrifying man who turns into the gentlest person alive when it comes to you.

🌑 C - The shadow daddy with a dangerous reputation and an embarrassing soft spot for you.

NO switching answers. NO choosing all three. 👀

👇 DROP A, B, OR C IN THE COMMENTS AND TELL ME WHY. I WILL BE JUDGING YOUR TASTE (lovingly). 😂

Bonus points if you tell me which fictional man made you choose that answer.

📸 JUST FOR THE CAMERAS… BUT I WASN’T READY FOR THE FEELS. 😭💕

Just for the Cameras by Megan Quinn ✨

This was my first Megan Quinn book, and WOW… she definitely knows how to write romance. 🥹💕

I was laughing CONSTANTLY! Whether it was Graydon being absolutely ridiculous with Maple or the hilarious bromance between him, Bennett & OC. 😂

And can we talk about Graydon?! 👀
A celebrity MMC who ISN’T a man whore?! 🙌🏼 YES PLEASE.
Plus, the way he’s so protective of Maple had me absolutely melting. 🫠💕

But my favorite part? THE ROLE REVERSAL. 🔥

Usually we get the guy chasing the girl, but Maple said, “Nope, you’re not getting away from me.” 😂 She fought for Graydon and refused to let him push her away, and honestly… I LOVED watching her fight for their relationship.

Was I a fan of the third-act breakup? Absolutely not. 😭
Did Maple fighting to get him back make the emotional damage slightly more bearable? YES. 😂

Maple & Graydon have officially earned a spot on my favorite couples list. 🥹💕

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌶️🌶️🌶️

Would I recommend it? 100%.
And now I definitely need to read more Megan Quinn! 📚💕

🔥 I NEVER EXPECT TO LOVE BOOK 2 MORE THAN BOOK 1… BUT HERE WE ARE. 🔥

📚 Bad Bishop & Twisted Pawn by L.J. Shen

I went into Bad Bishop not really sure what to expect. A deaf FMC + an MMC with a missing eye? 👀 I almost didn’t pick it up…

BOY, AM I GLAD I DID. 😂🔥

Bad Bishop had me completely hooked. I literally couldn’t put it down, and that ending?! 😳 I WAS NOT READY.

Then came Twisted Pawn… and somehow this one became my FAVORITE of the two. 🥹❤️‍🔥

Achilles & Tierney had me THIRSTY for more from the little taste we got of them in Bad Bishop. Their relationship is full of that delicious push & pull, slow-burn tension, second-chance romance, and SO much stubbornness. 😂

Tierney is an absolute BADASS FMC who refuses to bow down to anyone, and I loved her even more for it.

And Achilles… 🫠 The tension between these two had me screaming because you could tell they were still in love even when they were fighting like hell not to be.

Twisted Pawn wasn't quite as spicy as Bad Bishop, but it still brought the heat. 🌶️🌶️🌶️

I did have a few things that kept it from being a 5⭐️ read for me; including one plot point involving Luca & Tierney that I NEED ANSWERS ABOUT 👀 but overall, I was completely invested.

✨ Final verdict:
Bad Bishop = “OMG I need to know what happens!”
Twisted Pawn = “Oh… THESE TWO are my favorites.” 😭❤️‍🔥

And now I’m officially ready for book 3. 👀📖

⭐️ Twisted Pawn: 4⭐️
🌶️🌶️🌶️ 3/5 spice

Have you ever loved the second book MORE than the first?! 👀

🚨 MALACHI HAS OFFICIALLY ENTERED MY TOP 10 BOOK BOYFRIENDS. 🚨

📚 Web of Silence Duet by Leigh Rivers

I genuinely was NOT prepared for how quickly I would fall in love with Malachi and Olivia’s story. 🥹❤️‍🔥

From the moment Malachi meets Olivia, he is protective of her, and watching that relationship develop had me completely hooked. The tension, the emotions, the obsession… 😮‍💨

I literally COULD NOT PUT THESE BOOKS DOWN. Every time I thought I’d read “just one more chapter,” suddenly it was 2 AM. 😂📖

Malachi went from “okay, I see you…” to TOP TEN BOOK BOYFRIEND STATUS real quick. 🫠🔥

And Olivia?! I loved experiencing her story and watching everything unfold between them. Their relationship had me feeling ALL the things.
