A little rebrand. Crafting my look and my message. The meaning behind JOYN is three part… 1 Joy Nicholson. It’s an acronym of sorts 2 Also I want to communicate with whoever I work with that I will join with them in partnership to bring their design dreams to fruition! 3 I am constantly striving to see how I can join the talents God has given me with the great commission to build His kingdom and name. by @joyn.creative
Care Cups is brand design for a socially conscious coffee shop dedicated to making a positive impact in the local community. With each purchase, they contribute to various local causes, making customers feel like they are part of something meaningful. The brand design should reflect Care Cups' commitment to community, sustainability, and exceptional coffee. ✨Working towards adding more of my projects here! GOOD NEWS. The Messiah, the Savior of our souls has come and he will soon come back. He promised. Many prophesied. He provided a way out of our fallen ways. This is true. “This is how Jesus the Messiah was born. His mother, Mary, was engaged to be married to Joseph. But before the marriage took place, while she was still a virgin, she became pregnant through the power of the Holy Spirit. Joseph, to whom she was engaged, was a righteous man and did not want to disgrace her publicly, so he decided to break the engagement quietly. As he considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream. “Joseph, son of David,” the angel said, “do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife. For the child within her was conceived by the Holy Spirit. And she will have a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.” All of this occurred to fulfill the Lord’s message through his prophet: “Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel, which means ‘God is with us.’” When Joseph woke up, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded and took Mary as his wife. But he did not have sexual relations with her until her son was born. And Joseph named him Jesus.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭1:18-25‬ ‭NLT‬‬ by @joyn.creative
The fruit of the Spirit has been on my mind a lot this year. Learning that as I abide and seek the Lord’s presence and am faithfully obedient to his voice… His Holy Spirit will produce LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS, and SELF CONTROL in my life. That sounds like a beautiful thing. by @joyn.creative
JUST A LITTLE UPDATE. it’s been a few months and I’ve been a little absent from creating for myself. I have been working on an internship with a church this summer learning the ins and outs of how design is used practically for the church and Gospel of Jesus. I also have continued to work remotely for my graphic design job. On top of all of that, I went traveling with my family for 5 weeks and now I’m back living with some friends before school starts. All that to say, I miss creating for myself and hope to show you some fun things I’ve done lately very soon. Comment some things you would like to see me create or some fun things you have been up to this summer! ✨ #summer #artist #graphicdesign #graphicdesigner #churchdesigner #intern #busy #creator by @joyn.creative
This year has been special. This sign brings memories of home in Thailand but also of my home here in college this year. I taught the girls on my hall this little heart sign with your fingers and it became a way we connected. I’m thankful for where the Lord placed me this year and with who He placed around me. #embroidery #art #koreanheart #sign #creative #creativity #design #designer #graphicdesign #illustrator by @joyn.creative
A BIG DAY FOR BIG DREAMS ✨ A dream of mine has always been to design something that people would wear! Today is the day. A few weeks ago I go the opportunity to design a sweatshirt for two dorms, the circle and the tower, on campus at Liberty University. It was a rushed and quick time frame but I said yes. Now several hundred people have ordered these sweatshirts and it’s so STINKIN’ exciting to me! Something I’m definitely learning is to take the opportunities no matter how daunting or small they may seem at first. Swipe to see how one of the colors turned out!! #design #logo #graphic #graphicdesign #designer #libertyuniversity #art #sweatshirt #dorm #thecircle #southtower #LU #opportunity #dreams #creative #creator by @joyn.creative

A sweet phrase I learned growing up in Thailand meaning “cool heart” (carefree, chill, relax). That’s what this summer has been and I am loving it! • • • #embroidery #crafts #saturday #art #graphicdesign #photography #chill #needle #thread #trends #thailand #home #coronacrafts by @joyn.creative
