Teen Extreme church camp 2025. Thank you to @ana_molina7777 for inviting me to teen extreme this summer with your church, the Baptist Tabernacle located in Covington. I had so much fun and am so blessed to have been able to go. This week something that I learned that stuck out to me was the other side of the story when Jesus fed the five thousand. I, personally, have heard this story so many times and have never once focused on the perspective of the boy. In Mathew 14: 13-21 Jesus shows compassion on a large crowd and instead of sending them away he uses 2 fish and 5 loafs of bread to feed 5,000 men not counting the women and children. This insignificant character, a boy whose name we don’t even know, contributed to this story significantly by giving up his lunch to Jesus. Not only did everyone eat until they were satisfied but there were 5 baskets of leftovers. What if he never gave up his lunch? What if he only gave up half of his food? What if he asked for something in return? Just like this boy we should give 100% of ourselves to God. We shouldn’t partially live for him, or say I’ll live for you if you make this happen or do this for me. God creates miracles no matter what we do, but his plan for our lives are to be disciples of him. Be a part of Gods miracles. No matter how unimportant or pointless we may feel, if God woke you up another day he is not done with you! by @joyner_bennett

IN HIS NAME STUDENT LIFE CAMP!!!!!!⛪️🙌🙏. I am beyond grateful that I got to go to church camp this year at Shocco springs.
Throughout the week we had constant fun on water obstacle courses, zip lines, water slides, and bazooka ball (which I didn’t even know was a thing until we did it), while also worshipping, learning, and studying the word of God. One thing that stuck out to me from the entire week was that in Proverbs 18:10 God says, “ The name of the Lord is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.” We learned that by ourselves we cannot not be righteous because we are not perfect. When we call on the name of God and present him within ourselves that is when we become righteous. When our bodies aren’t ours anymore but his. To get to his tower of righteousness all we have to do is pray. Prayer is the access point to the tower;it is our life line. by @joyner_bennett
