I almost missed the beauty of the life I spent years praying for... because I was too busy grieving the life I thought I should have.

If you've ever felt behind in life...

I want you to know this; You're not alone.

Over the next few weeks I'll be sharing lessons this season taught me;-not as someone who has all the answers, but as someone who's learning to see beauty and find Joy in the life she's living again.

So Welcome to this new chapter.

And I'm so glad we're here.โœจ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

Welcome to;
FINDING JOY AGAIN
Episode 1.

What's one thing you're grateful for today that you may have overlooked a few months ago?

Finding Joy Again
Episode 2; Grieving The Life I Thought I'd Have.

For a long time, I didn't realize I was grieving expectations more than reality.

I kept looking at the gap between where I thought I'd be and where I actually was. That gap made it difficult to appreciate the gifts that were already in front of me.

And healing didn't come from pretending I wasn't disappointed. It came from learning to release timelines I couldn't control and embracing the life I do have with gratitude.โœจ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ

If this resonates with you, I'd love to know:

Have you ever had to let go of the life you imagined so you could embrace the life you were actually living?

Let's talk in the comments.โœจ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿค taken in Abuja, Nigeria by @joynerobiniran

Finding Joy Again
Episode 3: The Cost of Always Chasing More

Somewhere along the way, I started believing that joy belonged to the next milestone.
The next launch. The next opportunity. The next version of me.
But every time I got there, I moved the finish line again.
Achievement isn't the enemy. Ambition isn't the problem.
The real danger is forgetting to pause long enough to appreciate the life you're working so hard to build.
Today, I'm choosing a different rhythm.

One where I celebrate the small wins, protect my peace, and remember that purpose isn't just about where I'm going;- it's also about how I live while I'm getting there.

Reflection: What's one win you've experienced recently that you didn't fully celebrate? Let's celebrate it together in the comments.

Finding Joy Again, intentional living, Rediscovering your identity, postpartum journey, the trials of motherhood and ambition, the cost of chasing me, the cost of ambition, the beauty of contentment, the gift of living in the moment, being present, the reality of living a purposeful life. taken in Abuja, Nigeria by @joynerobiniran

Until You Answer, My Brother ๐Ÿค

Two years without you, and I still miss you in ways words can hardly explain.
I really miss hearing you call me Big sis for every little thing. I miss your corny jokes the most. I miss how you would annoy Diza and Sophia and how they'd try to give you a hard time in return, leaving me to use my Big Sister Power to come to your defence. ๐Ÿฅน I miss our inside jokes, your wit, and the unbelievably mature mind you had for such a young boy.

Oh, how I wish we had more time.
It hurts knowing that life goes on for the rest of us while yours was cut short. There are so many things you should have been here to experience, so many milestones you should have reached, so many memories we should have made together. Sometimes, the unfairness of it all is almost too much to comprehend.

And sometimes, I wonder if you truly knew how much I love you. I wonder if I cared for you enough, if I showed up for you in all the ways you deserved. I wish I could have one more ordinary day with you, one more conversation, one more opportunity to remind you how much you mean to me.

But even in my grief, I have something precious to hold on to: Jehovah's promise of the resurrection. The assurance that death is not the end, that the memorial tombs will open at Jesus' call, and you with those who have fallen asleep in death will live again. (John 5:28, 29)

So, although I cannot understand why we had to lose you so soon, I will keep holding on to that hope. I look forward to the day when, by Jehovah's grace and mercy, I will see you again. No more stolen years. No more milestones missed. No more having to love you from this side of the grave.

Just life, as Jehovah intended it to be.
Until then, my baby brother, you remain so deeply loved, so terribly missed, and forever a part of us. Two years have passed, but you are still my brother, and I will always be your Big Sis.

Until Jesus calls, I will keep looking forward to the day you answer.
I love you so much, my brother.

Forever your Big Sis. Until we meet again in Paradise. โœจ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ taken in Abuja, Nigeria by @joynerobiniran

We really need to learn how to respect people's choices, even when we don't understand them.๐Ÿ“Œ

One of the things I've been thinking about lately is how quickly we have become comfortable turning other people's personal choices into public conversations.

We don't have to understand someone's lifestyle to respect their right to live it.

We don't have to agree with someone's parenting choices, relationship choices, career choices, religious beliefs, clothing choices, traditions or the way they choose to live their lives.

And we certainly don't need to attach a negative narrative to someone simply because their choices are different from ours.

Tolerance isn't agreement.
Respect isn't endorsement.
And disagreement shouldn't automatically become ridicule, judgement or public shaming.

There is so much diversity in humanity because there are so many different experiences, cultures, values and reasons behind the choices people make...

Perhaps humanity would be a little kinder if we learned to say, โ€œI wouldn't make that choice,โ€ without feeling the need to add, โ€œtherefore, your choice is wrong.โ€

Maybe the real question isn't โ€œDo I agree with their choice?โ€ but โ€œCan I respect their right to make it?โ€
What does respect look like to you when you disagree with someone?

Memoirs of the Eternal Happiness Convention 2026,
I am so grateful to Jehovah for the privilege to have been able to attend with my family and friends.

Besides the bountiful spiritual food we were fed, the amount and variety of food I ate this weekend was unreal. So much food I was bloated for days ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜‚๐ŸคŽ

Many thanks to all the amazing families who made the sacrifice to spoil everyone richly and May Jehovah bless and replenish you all abundantly.โœจ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

Dear Mother,

I get it now and I love you so very deeply, most importantly I appreciate and cherish you for all the sacrifices you made especially the ones that were never acknowledged just so me and my siblings can have the life we have now. I acknowledge your bravery and selflessness in being a mother and I honestly don't know how you do it but I am so grateful to Jehovah;

You are my mother and I love you always and forever, and I pray Jehovah helps me take care of you in the very best way you truly deserve.โœจ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ taken in Abuja, Nigeria by @joynerobiniran

Finding Joy Again is realizing that accurately compartmentalizing the wheels of your life and giving each one the adequate attention they require is what you need to find balance and truly enjoy the life you've been given.

Self-care is a very important fuel that drives that wheel.
And self-care isn't just about drinking water and spending a lot of money on luxury skincare.

It's realizing what a privilege it is to wake up each day and have another chance to take better care of yourself, because when you take care of yourself, you look and feel better and you'd be able to give the world your best instead of what's left of you.

If you want to bloom, prioritize your self-care.โœจ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿ’
