woah that was sf gnarly. thank u @tj.mccloy @boatcruiseboston and of course the legend @linska for last weekend. this was the biggest crowd ive ever played for and also my first time on a V10 mixer so i was stoked i didnt break it by twisting the knobs the wrong way. taken in Boston Harbor by @joyrippp

back in the beginning of 2025 i was bothered by how much i’d say i was going to do something, half ass it, and then give up. so i decided to make a change and set five goals, consisting of things i’ve always wanted to try, and actually follow through with completing them. after a year of hard work i’m proud to say that i’ve finally checked off each of the goals i set for myself and i couldn’t be happier

1. learn to dj and throw a set for my friends: did this with the help of a lot of great people. this rooftop set was sick and im pumped to do more once the weather gets warm. i’m also looking forward to making my own music which is my main goal for this year (those early experiments might not sound so pretty so bear with me)

2. run the NYC marathon: my first marathon was rough, i was dying with all the hills but it felt so good to cross the finish line. was never one for running but im glad i picked it up, really wanna run the tokyo one at some point

3. act in a commerical: ive always wanted to get into acting but never followed thru with it. this past year i checked that off with a commercial shoot i did for TurboTax as well as a few short films. this is a snippet of one written and directed by my friend @ryanofarrelll starring @yelisey_k

4. learn how to box and compete in an amateur boxing match: always wanted to pick up boxing and prove to myself i could get in the ring so i started training in the mornings over at Gleason’s gym. shoutout @fightingforde and @dagboh for teaching me the sport

5. invent something and pitch it to a company: always had a bunch of ideas but never did anything with them so i thought i’d try to get one out there. had to reteach myself CAD to bring this idea to light but its a compact redesign of a swiffer duster. the idea didn’t get picked up but hey i still did it lol

thank you @majakaay , my friends, and family for letting me yap your ears off about goals and for motivating me to finish them. if anyones still reading this long ass post thanks.. i hope you set out to do something this year that you’ve always wanted to try. cheers by @joyrippp
