Last Saturday we somehow found ourselves at the first ever Strava Creators Meetup Malaysia.

Alarm clocks were ringing before the sun even clocked in. Everyone gathered at One Brick Drop, did a quick warm-up led by Awan, and by 7:30AM we were off for an “easy” 6K towards KLCC.

As the city slowly woke up, so did everyone else. Conversations started flowing, the pace settled, and before we knew it, we were back where we started.

Breakfast was served, familiar faces turned into longer conversations, and strangers somehow became friends. Mel and Rosana from the Global Strava Team shared a little about the community they’re building, and it was nice seeing so many different crews, creators, and runners under one roof.

Before calling it a day, everyone received a PR box filled with goodies from Voltra, Montigo, and Garnier. A pretty nice way to end the morning.

A huge thank you to @strava and @mua6__ for inviting us to be part of the very first Strava Creators Meetup in Malaysia. We spend a lot of time saying that running is just an excuse to hang out, and mornings like this remind us why.

A runner’s retreat with Adidas.

No meditation.
No yoga.
No healing crystals.

Just a bunch of dirt-loving humans disappearing into the jungle in search of speed.

Last week, we were lucky enough to be invited by Adidas and Crossover to put the new Agravic TT through its paces. Trading city noise for jungle serenity, we spent the day chasing trails, getting dusty, and seeing what this latest adidas trail weapon is all about.

The verdict? Fast, responsive, and built to move. If your idea of a good time involves pushing the pace on dirt, bombing down trails, and returning home with questionable amounts of mud on your legs, the Aggravic TT deserves a spot on your radar.

JOYRUN x KEEN — Run For The Trails

14 February. Bukit Dinding.

While most people were making dinner reservations, we were tightening laces.

JoyRunDivision teamed up with KEEN to bring the new SEEK trail running shoe straight to where it belongs - the trail. No showroom floors, no controlled environments. Just elevation, humidity, gravel, and honest miles.

We climbed.
We descended.
We tested grip on loose terrain and stability on tired legs.

Some came to try a new shoe.
Some came for the community.
All of us left with a better understanding of what SEEK can do when the trail gets real.

Grateful to everyone who showed up, trusted the process, and moved with us. And to @keen_malaysia thank you for backing a community-led trail running experiences and letting the product speak through performance.

More collaborations. More dirt.
We’ll see you on the next climb.

Last weekend we tagged along with the boys from @sunday.stomper , @formacionclub and @ads.collective to take on Route 68. Nothing fancy, just a “quick loop” that we all knew wouldn’t be that simple. Heavy rain earlier in the day pushed our start late, leaving the roads damp, the air thick, and the mood quietly buzzing.

The first stretch was all laughter and easy miles. Jokes flew, spirits were high, and for a moment it felt like one of those runs where everything just clicks. Then we hit the second checkpoint and that’s where Route 68 reminded us who was in charge. Smiles faded, conversations thinned, and everyone started running their own race, fighting their own battles in the dark.

After some R&R at Genting Sempah, the JoyRun boys made the call to loop back and head home, due to personal responsibilities waiting the next day. What followed was an eerie, almost meditative run back to base. Just the three of them, headlamps cutting through the silence, Route 68 felt longer and lonelier than before.

The rest of the crew chose to finish what they started, digging deep and pushing through to the end. Looking back, it felt like a flashback to our Dark Horizon 50 earlier this year—raw, uncomfortable, and strangely beautiful.
