Life, It Goes EP 👇

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

All year, we’ve been summitting as many of the peaks visible from Denver as possible. This week we hit 2 in one day, Audubon & Paiute. Here’s a glimpse into what that journey was like + some new music I’ve been working on 🏔️

“Did I just make the song of the summer?” - John Lennon

Thank you @adjoinsound for the colorful description, it took me 6 minutes to record that intro

nothing is more exciting to me than sending a demo to a collaborator and getting a voice message like this back. and @_alex._.hugo_ has such a sick voice whether he’s singing or speaking, i just want to write music around everything he says.

i used to have this mindset that if i stopped for even a moment, all of my progress would be erased. it was like after every release, i was reset to zero and had never even done anything. pretty stressful way to live tbh.

after finishing my EP, i decided that this time i wasn’t just going to rush right into the next big project. go outside, focus the lifestyle i want to build, and make music without any pressure. i’ve already got several ideas i’m pretty excited about now.. funny how that works.

this is a sick shot i got in mexico at sunrise with a few sunset/sunrise timelapses

when i was making this song with @_alex._.hugo_ , i had no idea that this was what it would be about. i was just cutting things together, writing chords, and designing sounds i thought were nice. it wasn’t until the song was basically finished that i realized what its message was, and how deeply it resonated with my life. i felt a lot of anxiety when i was working on it, feeling like i needed to make something amazing but really having no idea what to do. the song we ended up with really taught me to just trust the process.
