I honestly can’t believe I’m writing these words…

For the past year, I’ve poured so much of myself into creating something that feels like more than skincare. There were moments I questioned if I’d ever get here, but every setback somehow led me back to this moment.

Drops of Jupiter Ritual Oil was born from a feeling I’ve been chasing since I was 16. During one of the hardest seasons of my life, a song came on the radio that made me feel hopeful again. For just a few minutes, I felt alive. Years later, I realized that feeling—that reminder that joy can still find us—is what I wanted to bottle.

This isn’t just about glowing skin.

It’s about slowing down.
Taking one deep breath.
Creating one small ritual that reminds you to come back to yourself.

✨ Powered by bakuchiol, restorative botanical lipids, and antioxidant-rich botanicals to deeply nourish the skin, strengthen the skin barrier, soften fine lines, and leave you with a healthy, radiant glow.

🌿 The scent is warm, grounding, and uplifting—bright sweet orange layered with earthy patchouli and soft botanical notes. A scent that invites you to pause, breathe, and simply be.

I also want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who helped make this possible. To my friends, family, photographers, designers, formulators, mentors, clients, and every person who encouraged me when this felt impossible… this dream exists because so many people believed in it alongside me. I truly couldn’t have done it alone, and I’ll be tagging as many of you as I can because you deserve to be part of this moment too. I have tagged the people who have helped make this dream a reality!

And to everyone who’s been following this journey, cheering me on, sharing my posts, sending kind messages, and now placing a pre-order… thank you for believing in me and in JoyWild. It means more than you’ll ever know.

I cannot wait for a little piece of my heart to arrive at your doorstep. Here’s by @joywildrituals

This is where it all began.

I was 16 years old.

I had just moved back to Iowa after living with my dad, who had recently been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease at just 40 years old.

Life felt unbearably heavy. Home was chaotic. Money was tight. I worked at a small bakery in Valley Junction, driving an old primer-gray Plymouth Horizon that barely ran.

Then one afternoon, on my way to work, a song came on the radio.

Drops of Jupiter.

For four minutes, everything changed.

Nothing about my circumstances was different… but somehow, I was.

That song gave me hope before I had any evidence that life would get better. It reminded me there was still beauty waiting for me, even in the hardest seasons.

I held onto that feeling.

Years later, after becoming an esthetician, struggling with my own skin, losing my dad, divorce, single parenting, I learned that the smallest rituals can help us find ourselves again…

I created Drops of Jupiter Ritual Oil.

Not just to nourish skin.

But to remind you that sometimes hope begins with the smallest moments.

Come back to yourself.

I started JoyWild because I wanted skincare to feel meaningful again.
Not just something we rush through, but a ritual that brings us back to ourselves. Thank you @gemmatotten for this shot! 💗

Over the years, through building my studio, working with skin, becoming a mother, and moving through seasons of love, loss, growth, and reinvention, I kept coming back to one thing: people are craving connection. To their bodies, to beauty, to nature, to joy.

Drops of Jupiter was created from that place.
A grounding ritual oil inspired by wild botanicals, nourishment, softness, and the feeling of glowing from within. Something that feels both earthy and luxurious. Simple, but special.

JoyWild is my love letter to slowing down.
To finding beauty in the ritual.
To caring for your skin in a way that also cares for you.

Thank you for being here at the beginning.

Life is full of highs and lows, beautiful moments and really fucking hard ones. JoyWild was born somewhere in between — through starting over, becoming a mother, building a life, losing people I love, finding myself again, and learning that joy doesn’t have to wait until everything is perfect. Sometimes it’s as simple as slowing down, taking a breath, putting your hands on your skin and coming back to yourself. Drops of Jupiter is more than an oil to me. It’s a little ritual for this beautiful, messy, wild life. ✨ This is JoyWild. by @joywildrituals

I’ve combined my worlds 🤍

Juniper Lane Skin is where I’ve spent years caring for your skin, one facial at a time. JoyWild is the little bottle I made so you can take that feeling home.

So this page is now @joywildrituals—a place for both. I’m still doing facials in Ojai, and I’m so excited to share more of JoyWild with you. ☀️ by @joywildrituals
