I will be exhibiting my photographs at the El Porto Surf Shop on August 6th.

“Still Porto” is a project that started at the beginning of this year. My goal was to capture the spirit of El Porto as much as the spirits that resides, despite the many changes this city has been through. Along the way I got to reflect on my own relationship with nature, connect with community (@smsurfers @smc_photo ), and enjoy the wonders of just showing up (AND surfing along the way 😎)

All images are darkroom silver gelatin prints, shot on 35mm, 120mm, and 4x5 film, if that stuff matters to you lol. Anyways, I’m really excited to show these prints. Thank you Pack and @elportosurfshop for bringing the community together every First Thursdays! If you’re around, come join the party. There will be refreshments provided by local restaurants, booze, and live music.
