Watching my daughter cut up her registration sticker had me cracking up because she definitely didn’t grow up in the hood… but we sure did! 🤣 Somehow we passed down the important survival skills anyway. 😆

Back in the day, you cut those stickers up the second you put them on because people would steal them! And let’s be honest… with how much registration costs now, these might be the most expensive stickers you’ll ever buy. 😂

Take nothing for granted. ❤️‍🩹 My heart has been so heavy since hearing the heartbreaking news of Rena’s passing.

The largest wedding I’ve ever attended was their beautiful Samoan wedding over 16 years ago. Never in a million years would I have imagined that yesterday, we would be gathering to celebrate your life and lay you to rest. 💔

Ce has been friends with your family for over 25 years, and it’s heartbreaking to think how quickly life can change. You were simply going about your everyday routine, coming home from work and cooking dinner, when suddenly you didn’t feel well. Despite CPR being performed, just like that, God called your beautiful soul home to Heaven. 🙏🏼

Although we kept in touch mostly through social media over the years, the moments we shared in person left me with the impression of what an amazing woman you were. Gone far too soon at only 40 years young.

Life is truly so precious, and moments like these remind us that tomorrow is never promised. ❤️

Love your people a little harder. Make time for the people who matter. Laugh more, forgive more, create memories, and never take a single day for granted.

Rest peacefully, Rena. May God comfort your family and loved ones and give them strength during this incredibly difficult time. You will be missed, and your beautiful soul will never be forgotten. 🕊️🤍 by @joyyipofficial

🎉🏐 CONGRATULATIONS, BABY LOVE! 🏐🎉

This morning, our little girl received her FIRST OFFICIAL OFFER to play club volleyball! 🥹❤️

Last Friday, tryouts kicked off, and she received a verbal offer that very same night! She was so emotional that she cried… and of course, Mommy cried, too! 😭❤️

She made it her goal this year to make a club team, and MAN, has she worked hard for it! The last few months have been filled with driving back and forth to Arden Gym, long hours of practice on the weekends, and so much dedication. She knew she had to prepare, step up her game, and stay focused. And baby girl, YOU DID THAT! 👏🏼🔥 She’s been walking on cloud nine ever since!

As parents, we know how important environment and the people you surround yourself with are. So, the sacrifices and commute are absolutely worth it to be part of the @ohanastorm.vb family! 💖

She was SO nervous leading up to tryouts because we had no idea that girls try out for multiple clubs all weekend long! Meanwhile, we put all our eggs in ONE basket. 😅 It was all or nothing! And guess what?! She made Ohana Storm 13 Elite as the ONLY 6th grader on her team! 🏐🥹🙌🏼

BabyLove, our wish for you is to HAVE FUN, continue to grow and learn, build beautiful friendships and sisterhood, and always remember to stay humble and coachable. Keep showing up, keep working hard, and trust the process. ❤️

Please help us congratulate our little one! 🥳 We are beyond proud of her, but even more importantly, we hope she’s proud of HERSELF! She set a goal, put in the work, and proved that preparation will always meet opportunity. ✨

I’ve celebrated the good, the bad, and the ugly with these ladies since 1990! We have been through so much together! Blessed to call them my Bestest and sisters for life! 🥹❤️ We grew up together, raised our kids together, and still have mad love for one another!

I asked for something fun, unexpected, and beyond my imagination… and a few weeks later, I landed a role in a MOVIE! 🎬🤩

I quickly submitted my slate before leaving for a trip turned into an opportunity I never even imagined for myself! 🥹❤️

It may be a small role, but stepping outside my comfort zone was a BIG win for me! 🙌🏼

Almost 22 months post C2–C7 laminectomy and fusion, and slicing a steak is still a bit of a challenge. But my fine motor skills are improving each day! 🙏🏼

✨🎂 Birthday Girls! 🎂✨

We’ve been blessed to celebrate our birthdays together for nearly 20 years! 🥹❤️ My birthday is October 4th and Michelle’s is October 5th—back-to-back birthday celebrations! 🎉🥂

Through the years, we’ve shared SO many adventures… from traveling and Disneyland trips to seeing Oprah in Texas (still one of my favorites! 😂), simple dinner dates, endless laughs, and being there for each other through the good, the hard, and everything in between.

Life gets busy and our schedules change, but somehow the love and friendship always remain. ❤️ That’s the kind of friendship I’m forever grateful for—the one that doesn’t need constant attention to still feel like home.
