Life Update:

On September 19th, I had the joy of marrying my best friend @erinkprince back in her hometown in Maryland.

Football has given me a lot over the years, but one of the greatest things it has given me is relationships that last long after the final whistle. The blessing of being a coaches kid and playing the game is traveling across the country and I was able to meet such incredible people. I had coaches, people who supported me, and teammates all come to celebrate our special day. With my teammates from Stepinac, Delaware, and Indiana State being in attendance, two of my former Delaware teammates stood beside me as groomsmen. Football eventually ends, but the brotherhood doesn’t have to.

I’m also lucky to have a wife who loves the game herself even if she’s an Eagles fan lol. More importantly, Erin has been one of my biggest supporters as I’ve started JP77 Training and found a new way to give back to the game that gave me so much.

Grateful for everyone who celebrated with us and excited for this next chapter! 💍🏈 by @jp77oltraining

Shoutout @nikolaibuj with @abovealloffensiveline for the great OL Inside Zone Drill. Make sure you follow his stuff, as he’s constantly posting great stuff!

The ability to generate power from your lower half is critical to be successful in the run game. This makes the player use the entirety of their foot, not just their toes, to drive off the group and move their opponent.

Wow, what a year it has been. Our best offseason training yet, and it’s all thanks to the core of our group, our high school lineman.

Proud would be an understatement, these guys have shown up week in and week out. I am so blessed to be able to work with such a great group of smart, tough, coachable young men every single week. Just as I challenge them to push themselves and be better, they all do the same for me and I cannot thank them enough.

Look for all these guys to have dominate seasons, and be leaders on every single one of their teams.

Now, the fun begins.

Working on stopping defensive twist with our OL this weekend. Players need to communicate, be demonstrative on who they have, and stay on the same plane in order not to be picked!

Yesterday, I had my first ever high school football camp. It was such an incredible experience being able to work with kids who have such passion and love for the game!

A huge thank you to the players, coaches, and parents from Salem, Perry Central, Crawford County and Mitchell, coming out. It was an awesome opportunity for these athletes to learn, compete, and get better before the season kicks off. I also learned so much for everyone I was able to interact with coming down to Southern Indiana.

Special thanks to Coach Roger Pennington and the Salem Football program for all the work behind the scenes to make this event possible! They have a special group that’s poised to make some moves this season.

Wishing all four programs the best of luck this fall. You got a fan in Central Indiana!

Great work with my guy @jonden._ ! Jonden is one of the top OL in the state of Indiana, and it was a pleasure working with him. Already amassing 7 D1 Offers, the 6’5 lineman can play both tackle and guard and is going to be a force this fall! by @jp77oltraining
