We’re so grateful for our partnership with @livenationurban for creative on @rootspicnic this year. I was honored to personally put together this piece on the Belmont Plateau to kick off the campaign- telling the story of its history and significance for the event. It was so much fun hearing first hand stories of the plat and digging up as much Philly hip hop historical footage I could find. Special thanks to @mermaid_slurpee for help with the script and to @blackthought for the VO that really brought everything together. by @jpacre8ive

We had the opportunity to create a visualizer inspired by “Desert Rose” and its reimagined remixes, a track that already lives in such a rich, atmospheric world.With a song this iconic, it’s about finding the balance between respecting what already exists and adding a new layer of visual storytelling. Our team is always grateful to be a small part of projects like this. by @jpacre8ive

When we were asked to help @arianagrande celebrate 1 year of Brighter Days Ahead, I knew I wanted to do something special. The story her video tells about reliving your memories really struck a chord with me so I wanted to try and tell the story of Ariana and all of us reliving our memories from this album. We begin in the brighter days lobby then go to the memory room with an original Hampsted music box arrangement (thanks to @productions_by_jc for the assist there), then we recreatedthe interface voice from the video so we can hear “memory restored” which sets up the rest of the video where we see amazing footage from @katiatemkin I wanted to also highlight how personal this project was for her by showing the parallels of her home movie footage with her dad as a little girl to her working with her dad now in the video. Getting to work on projects like this always still feels special even after 20 years in this business. Thank you endlessly to our friends at @republicrecords for making this possible. by @jpacre8ive

For this lyric video we were given some very cool inspo visuals to work from in which Coco Jones was featured on multiple versions of “Luvagirl” movie posters and DVD covers from different eras. We focused on the typography and themes of the 80’s version and expanded it in the DVD direction, creating a menu for the opening. For the rest of the lyrics we chose a font reminiscent of marquee lights and leaned into a vintage look. by @jpacre8ive
