This classic Benz came in for a sound system that keeps everything period correct. We tucked a pair of @garmin_audio amps on a clean, custom wired rack at the side of the trunk, with a compact @garmin_audio sub enclosure sitting right alongside. Up front, a retro style head unit sits in the dash so the interior stays true to the era. You get modern sound in a car that still looks exactly like it should. . . . #agouraautosounds #classicmercedes #mercedesbenz #garminaudio #caraudio by @jpcustomdesigns
Back in this Jeep Gladiator for a quick listen. That shallow mount sub tucked behind the rear seat still hits clean, no rattles, no lost cab space, just serious low end. ㅤ Build list: @garmin_audio 13TW5v2-2 Custom Subwoofer Enclosure Compustar PRO T13 @audiotecfischer Helix DSP mini . . . #agouraautosounds #jeepgladiator #subwooferenclosure #garminaudio #helixdsp #caraudio by @jpcustomdesigns
One of my favorite details on this OBS Chevy, a trouble light built into the firewall that pulls out and rolls back up when you're done. . . . #agouraautosounds #obschevy #shoplife #caraudio by @jpcustomdesigns
Building custom A pillar pods for this Lexus. Each pod is shaped by hand right on the factory pillar, then sanded and refined until the angle and the curves flow with the trim. A final spray to match the factory finish, and the tweeters sit up high, aimed right where they need to be for a better soundstage. Looks like it came that way from the factory. . . . #agouraautosounds #lexus #apillarpods #customfab #caraudio by @jpcustomdesigns
This Porsche doesn’t leave much room to work with, so we kept it simple. We tucked a @focalamerica compact powered subwoofer behind the rear seats and ran the wiring back through the frunk, giving it real bass without giving up any cabin space. Still a daily driver, just one that hits a little harder now. . . . #agouraautosounds #porsche #focal #minisub #caraudio by @jpcustomdesigns
A customer brought in their Cadillac XLR to upgrade the speakers built into the seats. We swapped the factory units for @morel_america 2.5 inch wide-band speakers, soldered an inline capacitor onto each one so low baass can’t blow them, and trimmed the seat plastic and leather by hand for a clean fit. . . . #agouraautosounds #cadillacxlr #morel #speakerupgrade #caraudio by @jpcustomdesigns
Building a custom fiberglass enclosure for this Jeep Gladiator. We stretched fleece over the frame, laid it up in resin then shaped it to follow the back wall of the cab so it tucks right in behind the rear seat. Wrapped to match the interior and loaded with a @garmin_audio 13TW5v2, it's real low end without giving up any space in the truck. ㅤ Build list: @garmin_audio 13TW5v2-2 Custom Subwoofer Enclosure Compustar PRO T13 @audiotecfischer Helix DSP mini . . . #agouraautosounds #jeepgladiator #subwooferenclosure #customfab #garminaudio #caraudio by @jpcustomdesigns
Fabricating a custom false floor and air tank mounting bracket for this BMW 7 Series trunk setup. Every piece was measured, cut, and wrapped to fit flush in the spare tire well, securing the air suspension components right alongside the custom subwoofer enclosure. More to come on this full build, stay tuned. ㅤ. . . #agouraautosounds #bmw7series #customfab #trunkbuild #airsuspension #caraudio by @jpcustomdesigns
This Cadillac CTS-V Wagon came in for a head unit upgrade and a front camera install. We swapped in an @alpineusa iLX-507, keeping the factory climate and infotainment controls fully functional, then added a front facing camera for extra visibility and peace of mind on the road. Everything looks like it came that way from the factory. . . . #agouraautosounds #ctsvwagon #alpine #headunit #frontcamera #caraudio by @jpcustomdesigns
This Jeep Gladiator Rubicon got the full treatment, from a custom subwoofer build to remote start. We built a sealed enclosure to fit right behind the rear seats, wrapped it to match the factory interior, and loaded it with a @garmin_audio 13TW5v2. A @audiotecfischer Helix DSP mini handles the tuning, and we added a Compustar PRO T13 for remote start and added security. Clean sound and added peace of mind, all without giving up a single inch of cab space. ㅤ Build list: @garmin_audio 13TW5v2-2 Custom Subwoofer Enclosure Compustar PRO T13 @audiotecfischer Helix DSP mini . . . #agouraautosounds #jeepgladiator #subwooferenclosure #garminaudio #helixdsp #caraudio by @jpcustomdesigns
Years of chemicals and still showing up like nothing's wrong. Just another day at the shop. . . . #agouraautosounds #shoplife #caraudio by @jpcustomdesigns
