looking back, the internet was so unapologetically simple / strangely pure — but why did painted walls used to be SO EXCITING?? by @jpegjane

2025 is an impossible year to summarize eloquently but wow — as the world burned (literally and figuratively) — there sure was a lot of love. feeling so grateful for my people (many of them not pictured here because I just learned there are 264,647 photos on my camera roll and ain’t nobody got time for that!!)
2025 was the year I watched our city burn 💔, said goodbye to friends as we moved thousands of miles apart, finally packed up my beloved NYC loft (major shoutout to my mom for helping with that behemoth task), and put down 2 very special pets. It was also the year I got to celebrate love in every way imaginable! 💗Saw friends achieve big things, married my favorite person, got to spend lots of time with my parents, and got the thing I’ve always dreamed of: my very own tiny little baby girl. Poppy hasn’t even been here for 3 months and I can’t believe I ever lived without her.
In summary: I am so tired and my heart is so full and how the HECK did all of that just happen in 12 short months?!! If I didn’t answer your text in 2025 please forgive me — I love you and I can’t wait to see what (nice, calm, beautiful) things 2026 has in store for us all. Off we go! 💓 by @jpegjane

good year for mail 💌 by @jpegjane

october’s very own, Poppy Blue Martin 💗

our daughter (!) joined us 10/15/2025 and I still can’t believe she’s real. outstanding snuggler, big fan of milky, and had sartorial preferences by day 3 (specifically loves velour; destined for a juicy track suit). she can’t wait to meet more of her aunties and (g)uncles 🥹

now the real question is — what do I need to know bout raising a libra? by @jpegjane

Feels like the perfect day to marry my best friend and introduce you to Poppy (coming October 2025). Happy solstice — I love you! 🌞🌻🎀 by @jpegjane

logged off in 2023, moved to LA, lived in a beautiful house, fell in love with the man who built it, started building houses together, got one too many animals (“they chose us!”), stayed barefoot most of the time, laughed, traveled, saw our families more, celebrated our friends, got engaged (!!!), ate a million tacos, logged back on ❤️‍🔥 by @jpegjane

Today I turned 32, and last week I finished one of my biggest personal projects, just in time. Last year on 8/18 I lived in Manhattan — in Nov I moved back to Brooklyn and starting turning this space into a house. I thought I’d be done by February (LOL) in time to host a Rihanna Super Bowl party. Instead I spent every weekend, and most weeknights, for 9 months, “working on my house” (which my friends are so sick of hearing as the reason for why I’m not going out). I designed and built almost everything in here myself, and the process of learning how to do that was so energizing and rewarding. Yesterday I signed a lease in LA for the next few months to revert to the bicoastal life I had prior to 2020 — and to make a home like this out west. I’m hoping to start a fresh chapter in my 32nd year that involves working in the design world, building w my hands, making beautiful spaces, and continuing this slower life.
