You’re 18! A surreal moment. A surreal feeling. Our journey together has been unbelievable. January 20, 2006 changed me, forever. 2024 seemed like an eternity away back then. Here we are. All of our travels, the ups, the downs all have lead us here. Thank you for being such a beautiful person, honest, kind, caring and so driven to find success in what you love. Never have you followed anyone but yourself. I admire that in you so much, Alexa. You have followed your own path every step of the way and for that, I commend you. I have learned so much from you. Your next chapter of life is just around the corner and I can’t wait to watch you conquer it all. I love you with all my heart. Keep doing you! Happy Birthday to my favorite person on this planet! You complete my sentences, best advice giver, most caring, sweetest, most thoughtful human I know. You always know what I’m thinking, always one step ahead. The pillar in my life whom I lean on time and time again. Our bond continues to grow every day and our connection has proven limitless. We are aligned in so many ways. Chemistry is impossible to find and every day your energy reminds me how much of it we share. I love being around you. Yesterday, we celebrated our 11 year anniversary of meeting for the first time. Our timing was spot on. You changed my life, Brooke. You gave me two incredible sons. The perfect step mom for Alexa. We are an extraordinary team that continues to adapt and evolve.

There are no words to express my gratitude. You are my legacy.

My little girl is 16 today! I am speechless! It’s been 16 years since we first met. What a journey we have taken together. I am so proud of you and the person you’ve become. Your independence, intelligence, your drive to be the best in your craft. You’re only 16 and I can already sense the drive inside of you. You will do something in this life that will create that change that many wouldn’t dare touch. The depth of character that lies within you is limitless. Alexa, you are a proven star and have far exceeded any expectations I have had for you. Thank you for being such a supportive, loving, caring daughter all these years. The genuine love you show me each and every day does not go unnoticed. You can always count on me to have your back.

You turned 41 on Wednesday AND we celebrated 10 years from the day we first met on Tuesday!

Brooke - you never cease to amaze me. From helping me raise Alexa all these years, having two sons together to cruising through all the waves of life. You’re my better half, but, even more so you keep me even, my insides calm and continue to raise the bar on me and our family each and every day. Thank you for your steadfast commitment to our family, our partnership and with any challenges that may lie ahead of us, I know that all we need is love. The rest will find it’s way forward.

Happy Birthday to my sweet Alexa! January 20th is always such a special day for me. A few days late, but couldn’t be more proud of the person you’ve become. I find myself in constant awe in the way you carry yourself, your independence, your consistent motto of, “family first”. You interpret life way beyond your years and envision your path so clearly and know how it is you will get there. As we continue to celebrate # 15, I look back on all our years together and silently and proudly take notice of all your accomplishments, the vast talents you possess and knowledge you continue to build upon and teach everyone around you. You’re a gift. You give so much of your time to your brothers, to your family, to making life easier to those around you.

I love you so much, Alexa. Keep carving your own path in life. As we continue inching closer and closer to 18 and as much as that scares me, I know you will be so ready for what comes next.
