Medicare vs. Medicare Advantage: Know Your Options! Medicare Open Enrollment is here! October 15 โ€“ December 7. ๐Ÿ”น Traditional Medicare: Offers flexibility in choosing healthcare providers nationwide who accept Medicare. ๐Ÿ”น Medicare Advantage: Offers coverage through private insurance plans, often including additional benefits such as dental, vision, and hearing. Both options have different costs, benefits, and coverage requirements. Your healthcare. Your choice. Your rights. We encourage individuals, and families to explore their options. Make informed decisions based on their healthcare needs. JPES believe everyone deserves access to clear, unbiased information when making healthcare decisions. For free Medicare guidance, visit www.shiphelp.org or call 877-839-2675. #Medicare #MedicareAdvantage #HealthcareAdvocacy #MedicareOpenEnrollment #LongIslandNY by @jpes__

JPES had a wonderful time attending the Talent Connection Job Expo hosted by AHRC Nassau, FREE, ACLD, and Lifeโ€™s WORC! It was a great opportunity to connect with professionals, community organizations, and advocates who are committed to creating meaningful opportunities for individuals with disabilities. We also had the pleasure of meeting Willow Baer, Commissioner of the New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD). We especially enjoyed the Entrepreneurship Panel! Which highlighted how individuals with disabilities are not only entering the workforce, but also becoming business owners! This was a powerful reminder that individuals with disabilities should not only have a seat at the table, but also have opportunities to own the table! #JobExpo #DisabilityInclusion #Entrepreneurship #OPWDD by @jpes__
