Have you wondered what it's like to book a session with me?

Here's the details:
Email me at jpktattoos@gmail.com. I'll need to know subject matter, where you want the tattoo, and size in inches to start.
After that we'll set up a consult. I keep a couple of days a month open for consults. Consults are anywhere from 1 to 2 hours depending on the project.
I like to go over projects in depth. Meeting face to face we can toss ideas ideas back and forth and get some cool ideas going.
If you cant make it in person, I can also do zoom! Zoom meetings are a little shorter, around 40 minutes or so.
I like to get the concept to around 50%-60% of the way there during the meeting and then push it further after the appointment has been booked.
If you dig the concept we can move forward and book a session. If you're not feeling the design dont sweat it, you're not obligated to book and you can always come back later.
Hit me up and we'll be able to do some cool work together.

Something pretty cool happened the other day. @empireinkspro has sponsored me as one of their artists! Meeting @fineartfirst was a catalyst moment in discovering what it was for me to be an artist. Every day I wake up and try to pursue an ever reaching degree of quality in my work and art and this relationship has helped me to realize it more every day. Thank you again for the opportunity. For me, this is huge.

Want to see what a color tattoo looks like 7 years healed and settled? Im happy with how its aged. Seeing it now I would have pushed the mid tones on the left hand side of the ray and upped the darkness on the underside of the blue sand dunes. Overall im happy with approach 2 years in at the time.
Ive got time today and tomorrow @grimrivertattoo for tattoos, dm me to get some sick color pieces that will stand the test of time.

I watched a documentary on @thomasdambo and his troll sculptures and thought it looked fun to make them.
One wednesday down and a bunch of salvaged lumber later weve got this boy decorating the yard.
Nailing those joints is tough.

I love color. I was reading @javi_tattooedtheory book on color theory and it got me to considering the color wheel from the CMY approach as opposed to RGB. It still feels a bit unfamiliar to approach it that way, but i did like how it felt process wise to think of color more equidistant. I’m excited to keep reading the book and seeing what more I can pull from it.
If you’re looking for floral hit me up. I’ve got an opening on the 29th id love to fill. Email me at jpktattoos@gmail.com to book it!
