Thank you, Birchmere! ❤️
What a wonderful night!

It was so special to meet fans who have been listening to my music for over 30 years and finally came to see me live for the first time, as well as so many familiar faces who keep coming back. Your love and support mean so much to me!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone at The Birchmere for welcoming me back year after year. It truly feels like my home away from home on the East Coast! ❤️

And much love to my wonderful band and special guests, Patches Stewart (Trumpet & Flugelhorn) and Andrew Neu (Saxophone & Flute)!
Thank you all for another unforgettable evening!

Much love,
Keiko ❤️🎶 taken in The Birchmere by @jpmourao

“Eu queria crescer pra passarinho.

Guess who’s playing toy guitar for legendary Brazilian star Belchior? Circa 1988/89
With the famous band that accompanied him for more than a decade -
João Mourão MD and bass @joaocvmourao
Sérgio Zurawski on guitar @sergio_zurawski
Le Zurawski on sax/flute
Monsieur Parron on Drums
Glauco Sagebin on keys

What a privilege to have experienced this from that early age!! Got bitten by the bug and never wanted to do anything else. (Except be a soccer player for a very short period of time)
I know this music inside and out. It’s in my unconscious.

Huge thanks to my dad for the gift of experiencing this!
