With this dude dissecting owl pellets on his BIG 10 BIRTHDAY…not my cup of tea😂

But I (we) am soo grateful to have a front row seat to his life. He is so kind and so chill, yet up for a good time too. Honestly I could go on and on❤️ I remember on the day he was born saying my heart could explode with love, and it hasn’t stopped. I am so thankful God chose me (us RJ☺️) for him. by @jpsoltys

We have been doing the Advent Wreath from Parent Cue and it is 10/10 recommended. It has helped us to slow down and do fun, meaningful, intentional things with the kids in a season when it easy to get caught up in the busyness. (Personally when I haven’t felt much of the Christmas spirit these weekly devotionals have realigned my heart, and I even do my own Advent devo….I need a whole lot of Jesus😊). Most importantly it has kept the focus for us on what we celebrate this Christmas!

Full disclosure it is not this super quiet and meaningful time when we review each candle and make them. Most of the time we am trying to keep the focused, but it gives us a few minutes to talk about some meaningful things about our amazing God. As they get older I hope we will have longer conversations, but loving and teaching them where they are now.

Mom’s first outing out after little over a month seeing her only through FaceTime…even though the kids couldn’t give hugs and kisses we still got to enjoy time together. Pappy definitely soaked up as many hugs and kisses for the both of them❤️ by @jpsoltys
