Here is an acrostic poem, about Annie @schoulund59, by me :

As you're a moon hidden behind the clouds,
Night sky has longed very long for your shine,
No end of stars prostrate before your light,
In the galaxies sky lamps steal your shine,
Earthen lamps do become stars with your glow

All roses bloom beneath spell of your blush
Now look, they stretch petals to embrace you
None but you lend the fragrance to garden
It's you watering them, you're a river
Even you've a dam to save them from flood

Here is an acrostic poem, Michael 2, a biopoem written by me about Michael Jackson, focusing especially on the controversies that affected his life and were excluded from the movie Michael for unknown reasons.

The King of Pop, Michael Jackson, was not only the world’s most popular singer and dancer but also a hero who challenged child trafficking and abusive mafias alone. He built Neverland Ranch to reclaim the childhood he never had, as he was never allowed to live a normal child’s life. He was even tortured by his father for minor mistakes during singing rehearsals.

Neverland was a haven for children. He deserved the Nobel Prize for his services to children, but instead he was accused of child molestation as a few parents conspired against him, motivated by people like Jeffrey Epstein. However, the allegations of child molestation against him were proven false during court trials.

When the child trafficking mafia failed with false allegations, they murdered him. Yet even after his passing, they have failed to suppress his legacy, aura, and voice against evil.

I wrote this feminist poem inspired by a conversation with Ayesha @ayesha_f_muskaan about how a woman's character is often judged by her clothing. Even courts sometimes hold a woman's attire responsible for her rape. As for the rapists, we’re not sure whether they receive the death sentence, because many are too influential to face such punishment. The only way to truly deter rape, some argue, is to publicly castrate, blind, and cripple the perpetrators.

In the name of renovation,
people tend to enhance appearance
of their homes, producing noises:
hammering, drilling, cutting, pushing, and pulling
loud enough to steal their neighbors' peace.
They are renovating their ephemeral homes
instead of their graves their decisive homes.
They are busy expanding their homes
in ways that will squeeze their graves.
They illuminate their ephemeral homes,
unwilling to illuminate their graves,
Graves are the decisive homes,
as they lead either to heaven or to hell.
Only the good deeds illuminate the graves,
rising like light from earth to heaven,
guiding the soul toward paradise.

It is my old, derelict home situated within the abandoned Fauji Sugar Mills in Tando Muhammad Khan city, where I spent my childhood days with my parents. Various vegetables and fruits were once grown in the front and backyard of the house, but they are now completely ruined. Not only our bungalow, but all the others in the colony have a ruined and derelict look—and so does the factory.

The people from this colony were elite, loving, and caring, so much so that the whole colony felt like one big home. We had to leave when my father resigned from his position as Deputy Chief Engineer and joined another sugar mill in a different city. This gave us the opportunity to live in many colonies across various cities, but we never found the exemplary environment we once enjoyed at Fauji Sugar Mills in Tando Muhammad Khan.

It is my first collaboration with Javed Qambrani @jqambrani on tanka poem that consists of five lines with 5-7-5-7-7 syllable scheme.

We had to archive our collab due to the typos and repost it after making corrections.
Collaborating with a brilliant and versatile writer and poet like Ayesha @ayesha_f_muskaan on a 5-7-5-7-7-7 syllabled tanka poetry, this time on the theme of the feminization of poverty once more, is indeed a great pleasure. Feminization of poverty refers to a situation where a woman earns but has no right over her earnings. Instead, it is the man of the house or the husband who decides what she should do with her money.
