We had to say goodbye to the best boy early this morning. Romeo was the best cat in the whole world. Even people who didn’t like cats, loved him. He was loved by all of us and our hearts are broken today. Romeo entered our lives when he was about 4yrs, and we have loved him for almost 14. He was an old man indeed, and over these last few days he lost so much weight. Romeo was with us through so many seasons of life, 3 moves, two babies and all the cuddles in between.

I hope there is a big sink of running cold water in kitty heaven for you buddy. We already really miss you 💕🐈‍⬛ by @jraeh750

I had the best birthday yesterday! Complete with the most perfect Diet Coke Cookie cake 🎂
In the morning I was greeted by cards and gifts on the kitchen counter from Zac and the girls.
We went to the newly re-opened Coney Island Dinner for lunch (delicious) and met up with friends for dinner at DLX.

Ended the night with cookie cake, s’mores and a fun evening with friends. Thank you to everyone who took time out of their day to message / wish me a happy birthday yesterday. It was beautiful and I am truly so lucky and blessed. by @jraeh750

Our sweet Elliot has done so much over the last few weeks. She spent most of the semester learning Flamenco after school and performed at Spanish Heritage Night. She finished her Spring Soccer Season and scored the only goal for the grey team in their last game. Elliot is just shy of 48” but we tried our luck at Cedar Point on Monday. She’s been anxiously waiting to be tall enough for years. Millennium said no, Mine Ride yes. Big Swings, yes. Gemini, no. Magnum, somehow, yes and she was terrified. Stuck with the smaller rides for the rest of the day. To be fair, Magnum is really intense for a first roller coaster. She is so brave and empathetic and kind (when she wants to be) love seeing her try new things. by @jraeh750

Rowen was cast as Amaryllis in the production of The Music Man Jr. at Richland Academy of The Arts.
She had 3 shows over the weekend, and it was so fun to watch her shine each time. She made so many new friends, and 💯 caught the theatre bug. Thank you to all of our family and friends who drove in / came to her performances and supported her.
Somehow Ms. Megan and her incredible volunteers (Erin-costumes, April-set) directed, designed, and decorated an incredible show featuring 36 kiddos! Thank you to everyone involved who made this weekend possible- looking at you RAA staff, thanks for all you do too!

Rowen had her second vocal performance today.
She sang ‘A Dream Is A Wish’
Her voice teacher Miss Megan is the very best and Rowen has really enjoyed this semester with her.
There were 39 students who performed a mix of Voice, Piano, Violin, Clarinet, and Guitar.

More scenes from the tail end of our Florida Family Vacation.
We headed to Jacksonville for a 24hr whirlwind of beach, pools and so much fun with family. Thank you Aunt Sally and Aunt Jill for all the food, hosting, coordinating and entertaining you provided in the middle of your already crazy weekend, we appreciate you so much. Thanks to all the cousins for taking some time to visit too. We love you all.

Also included for entertainment purposes- my favorite snack anytime, even in the car, dill pickles…and me slightly emotional meeting Mickey Mouse. Had no intention of getting choked up talking to him but it got me, as so many things do these days. by @jraeh750
