Kinda chic to play gigs with people who inspire the sh¡t outta you. ✨✨✨

🙏 Big huge thanks to @jimwalshmpls for organizing an excellent Hoot(enanny) & to the fine audience at MinnPostFest for listening, hanging, & singing along. 🦉 One of my favorite piece of audience commentaries to date came from a super rad lady after this set “… pretty cool how you got a church sanctuary full of Boomers to sing ‘Fu¢k ¡¢E’ along with you.” (Indeed!😆😎🖕🧊)

Keep on Hootin’ & Lovin’ & Resistin’ friends ~💘J

Mark your calendars for October 19! Because AG @ellisoncampaign is running to be the people’s lawyer again, and WOWWOWWOW do we need him, and NOT the other guy.

So trans and queer folks let’s get organized, because we need to turn out for our Attorney General. He’s been fighting for our rights and our healthcare tirelessly. Whether it’s in public, in court or behind the scenes, he is always there for us. He’s a champion for trans folks—and every other community we are fighting for.

So join me and @jraemusic (I know!!) and rally for Keith!

If the rumors are true and “the old Instagram” is back then first of all HELL YEAH & secondly please enjoy this singular photo of what recording studio music creation looks like. ⚡️ Will the alg0-g0ds enjoy & approve? I suppose only time will tell. But at the end of the day who cares? Right? Real human eyes & connection & interaction & creation FTW. Numbers be damned.🤘

OH YEAH! Worth mentioning that you’re looking at the mightiest finest recording studio in St. Paul Mn @clubhousestudiomn . Ain’t she cute? 👀🎧🤍

6500+ followers on the gram? Holy cannoli COOL! Perhaps it’s time for a lil reintroduction post…
Hi!👋 My name is Jillian Rae & in a nutshell I am an indie musical artist. Which sounds super awesome (it is!) & glamerous (it can be but I will admit I am typing this post in my sleep shirt & underwear so make of that what you will). And also, to be real with you & peel back the curtain a little bit— doing this hashtag music life as a career is more like 10 little hustlers in a trench coat. And I suppose for an adhd riddled millenial gal like me, that’s why it works? 🙃😆 SO HEY go check out my music & listen to one of my 4 albums or umpteen singles anywhere you can find music on Al Gore’s Internet™️ (or in the Lincoln my Bye-0 will get you there) + come out to a live show! OR go check out my folk trio @corpsereviverband (the world’s only tribute to Harry Smith’s anthology of american folk music). OR check out my top notch recording studio @clubhousestudiomn (that I built & operate with my hot & talented husband @ejmarti ) for all of your recording / production / finishing / rehearsal needs. OR let me know if you need some baller string parts / vocal harmonies / arrangement work on your next recording. OR hit me up if you’d like to do some 1-on-1 musical study (violin, voice, songwriting, p much all the instruments U don’t have to blow into, pedagogy, mentorship coaching). 🎤🎻🎧 I’m so glad you’re here, in this little corner of the matrix! And hey if you wanna be a super real one, comment & let me know how you found me + help share my work with some friends, will ya? ✨🙏✨

This should be on my feed. Earlier this year I covered a show at the Cabooze in Minneapolis and headlining the show was the amazingly talented @jraemusic. A few months after the show Jillian asked if she could use a photo from that night as the cover of an upcoming live album they were recording. I am beyond stoked to not only have a photo on a record but to have it on Jillian Rae's record is an honor. Jillian Rae- The Live Album came out back in October and I hope you have given it listen! taken in Minneapolis, Minnesota by @jraemusic
