Makeup is a process.
Most of the time, I get a brief from my client about what she’d like to achieve, but I don’t always know exactly what I’m going to do until I start.
I love looking at someone’s features, starting the process and simply seeing where it takes me.
Sometimes the final look is exactly what I had in mind, and sometimes it evolves into something completely different! Both are great!

One of my favourite bridal makeup styles to create is fresh, glowing skin, softly blended eyes, glowy flushed cheeks and a glossy pinky-nude lip.
My goal is always to enhance my client’s natural features, keeping the skin looking like skin and making sure the makeup feels comfortable and that it lasts beautifully throughout the day and into the evening.

Thank you so much for all your messages and DMs reaching out recently, and for your interest in my services.
Unfortunately, I’ll be going on maternity leave very soon, so I won’t be working or taking on any bookings for a little while.
I’ll be sure to let you all know when I’m back at work and taking bookings again.

Thank you again for thinking of me and for your continued support. It truly means a lot. 🤍

With love,
Jo-Ann

Smoky eyes for stunning @jesska.official for the stage. 🖤
With concert makeup, it’s always about finding that balance, enough definition to hold its own under the lights, but still beautiful up close.
I wanted Jesska’s eyes to have depth without taking away from her features, keeping the skin matte through the centre and luminous on the high points.

Bridal makeup is never just about makeup…
For me, it’s about making my bride feel like the most beautiful version of herself, not like someone else.
I want you to still recognise yourself when you look in the mirror, just a little more polished, a little more radiant, and more confident. 🤍
