Today our first born started Kindergarten. Most milestones up to this point have been small, but exciting. Learning to smile, crawl, walk, hold a spoon, drink from a cup without spilling. But this feels like something bigger…the beginning of the next chapter, a new phase in her life…and in parenting. 🥹

She crushed homeschool pre-K where she learned to read, write and add, but she’s extremely excited to discover what going *to* school is all about. Her curiosity and thirst for learning are such gifts. We are excited to see what this experience cultivates in her! It was only yesterday that she was Elthea’s age. 😭🤯 How blessed are we to watch her grow and thrive 🙏🏻❤️

We are overjoyed to share that Indigo “Indie” Lee Abbott made her debut earth side at our love filled home peacefully in the water 🌊 last Sunday, May 19 at 10:35am weighing in at 9lbs and 21.5” long!! A Mother’s Day hike to remember at Screw Auger Falls with my two favorite people🥰 O’Hara’s first waterfall siting and first time hiking on her own two feet and she is hooked!! What pure magic it is to watch their world expand ten fold in front of your eyes. Little O’s first time in New York City! 🍎🗽 It had been 3 years since we last made the trip: pre-baby, pre-Covid, pre-wedding. A lot has changed in that time, not just the city, but us. The place that used to be the playground of my 20’s is now the playground of my babe’s. To be honest I was expecting a mixed bag of emotions, but perhaps the sweetest revelation was that I get to experience this magical place all over again through the eyes of my precious blossoming daughter. As we grow as a family, I look forward to sharing it all with her.❤️What a beautiful life.

Well now that O is officially one, I guess it’s time to catch up on the last few months! 🙊🥰 Here is month 9 (April 2-May 2) in a nutshell! 🌰 Discovering earth and the outdoors, first trip on an airplane ✈️, lots of socializing, learning how to wave, lots of exploration crawling and cruising around on furniture. Andddd drumroll 🥁 first words “mama” followed shortly by “dada”😍 by @jrichstyle
