Tiddy on main to celebrate 31 years passed on our God-given green earth. All I can say is, I think the microplastics have finally gotten to me y’all - Enjoy the mess that is this post but most especially, my baby nephew.

What a journey it has been y’all. I am tired, overwhelmed, underwhelmed, and frustrated all at once at so much of people’s and life’s shenanigans and Tom foolery. BUT I am also incredibly grateful, hopeful, and humbled by the love and support God has filled my life with to get through it all. To those of you who show up and show out for me: I love you so so much.

6 months ago, I sweat out half my body weight every day for 4 days, ate almost exclusively whatever was swimming that morning, got my old tan back within 6hrs, totally wiped out in the water, and I was at peace. I’ve not known peace like that since, but there have been glimpses.

Been at war in Florida. With the iguanas, the mosquitoes, my own thoughts, the jellyfish. Most days are rough, but some days are nice. Feel free to send NYC care packages. DM for address.

Some good news is, I’m tan again, I’ve been cooking more, I’m an uncle, Broward County voted blue in the end, and they opened both a Joe’s Pizza and a Prince Street Pizza down here so… I’ll be okay. taken in Fort Lauderdale, Florida by @jrivera218

You can always count on December to bring some last minute surprises. I’m happy to know that this year that included being surrounded by loved ones I haven’t seen in more years than we’d realized.

I also received a 12lb handmade pilón made from wood of the native “capa prieta” tree of Puerto Rico for Christmas so get ready for the mofongo content in 2024. by @jrivera218
