Wayback Machine— in 2004 I worked (stills) on a movie written and directed by Julia Solomonoff called Hermanas… and cast in a small role of a thrift shop dude and friend of one of the hermanas was a nice guy named Pedro Pascal! @pascalispunk The film was partially set in 1980s Texas but these scenes were shot in Argentina … and because my Spanish was not as good as it is today(😂), it was nice to speak with someone who was fluent English speaker for a minute or two over a few days. … I’ll add some more #BTS photos in the days to come. Needless to say he’s a huge star now but based on his SNL appearances and various interviews (and BadBunny) he is as funny and nice as he was back then! Julia went on the make some great movies like “The Last Summer of the Boyita” and “Nobody’s Watching” (…and two great kids😉). #pedropascal #styx #hermanas #cinemaargentino Photo: John Harris @jrockfoto. 🎦BTW. Chelsea residents and members of @chelsea_neighbors_united gathered in front of the @target store on 8th and 23rd on 2/11/26 to protest the company’s compliance w Trump Administration’s DEI policies and to stand in solidarity with Minneapolis activists who have called on the company to publicly oppose ICE raids, ban federal agents from stores and parking lots without judicial warrants, and protect immigrant workers/customers following employee detentions.👊👊. Members of #chelseaneighborsunited went into the store and gave the store manager a letter stating same to forward to store corporate headquarters. by @jrockfoto
