I'm not much of a poster on IG. It has become my companion in distraction and entertainment lately. Alas, I'd like to make a post on behalf of my beloved son David. His mental health took him from this world in the early morning hours on February 19, 2024. He is no longer in pain of which I am eternally grateful.

As his mother, I carry the abysmal grief of his absence. My heart aches with a fiery burn; eyes and throat pulsate with a neverending need to explode with tears and screams at the universe from his choice.

David, I love you so much. I keep with me all of your loves in art and music. Although I haven't been able to finish our Netflix shows, I do continue to feel you in the music we both loved so much. As I discover new artists, I can't help but call you out as I am driving and say out loud, "now you would have LOVED this!"

I keep you in my heart. You are my first and last thought of the day.
