MOUNT RAINER 📍10/6/26. 5 miles hiking, a billion steep steps, a sunny day. It was HARD 😩! One for the books. Gotta do it while ur young guys! 💙 Still not over this blue. Crater Lake was formed nearly 7k years ago when Mount Mazama collapsed after a massive eruption. Fed only by rain and snow, its incredibly pure water creates that unreal deep blue. 🏔️💙

One of the most breathtaking places I’ve ever visited. If you’re planning a trip, don’t forget your America the Beautiful Pass (National Parks Pass) it covers entrance to Mount Rainier and hundreds of other federal recreation sites. Worth the 80 bucks and discounted if you are a senior citizen, veteran, or disabled.

🎒 Must-bring items:
🎟️ America the Beautiful Pass (National Parks Pass)
💧 Plenty of water
🥾 Comfortable hiking shoes
🧥 Layers (weather changes quickly—even in summer!)
🕶️ Sunglasses & sunscreen
🥪 Snacks or a picnic
