Who wants a million views?! 📱 People have asked me how I got “here.” Here’s my career’s origin story.

As a young adult, I built and ran a website about fashion, music, shows, pop culture, and local events for years.

Then Instagram was born. I started taking photos of my outfits and posting them. I built a following.

Then I made a YouTube channel. I taught myself how to edit videos, write scripts, and create long-form content.

Then I pursued it professionally.

I found a boss who gave me my first chance in social media, working in real estate.

Then Bell Media gave me a shot. I managed a wide range of high-priority show accounts across different genres. I learned how to operate at a high level and gained exposure to the entertainment industry.

Then I knocked on Dragons’ Den’s doors (I even pitched in my interview!). It gave me the opportunity to lead, be part of the production team, and gain incredible access. It’s my most successful project to date.

I then worked on podcasts and comedy with Because News and The Debaters.

This didn’t happen overnight. There’s a lot between the highlights. The journey has been long, with several knocks to the face—but my career has been fuelled by enjoying what I do and always wanting to be better. Somehow, I got “here.”

So what’s next? Who knows—but I’m excited about my future.

If you ever want to work together, DM me. Let’s get you that 1 million views! 📱 by @jrsparty

Worked my first TIFF with Refinery 29. 🫡 It’s my first time working the red carpet. It’s my first time working with a US company. It’s my first time being in the same party as Seth Rogen.

Still so focused and hungry to grow my social media career and it never fails to shock me where it’s taken me.

And I want to do more!

Special thanks to @kathleennb and @trishellica. So so grateful for this experience. ❤️ by @jrsparty
