my best friend 🥹🤍☁️👼🏽

lots to work on, but grateful to work alongside my boy. even though the results at jump start were not what we were necessarily looking for, we have things to work on for hagyard! i promise next time i won’t mess up my dressage test 🫣

we got this buddy — it’s just a bump in the road and i can’t wait for our future together. always lucky to have my Batman. 🤎🤎 by @jrv.eventing

Batman’s weekend at MSPC HT!! we had a much improved dressage test from our last time out (though the score did not reflect that), a super cross country, and added only a rider rail (sorry buddy) in stadium to finish 6th in the novice. so proud of my boy and excited to improve even more for the next one. feeling ready to put in the work these next few weeks to prep for KY Summer 🤎😇🧸🤞🏽

as always, we’re so thankful for everyone in our corner, cheering us on every step of the way!! 🥰 @laurenfergusoneventing @emmawhisman @gracefully.uncoordinated @mluebberteventing @jenny_vanesky @stgeorgesalesllc

first outing of the season!! Batman meant business on the flat and had to show everyone watching how big he could jump around the novice. a pesky rail kept us from the win, but our time will come soon enough (probably when his mom can remember to breath while showing…).
for now, i’m just enjoying learning and growing with my boy 🤎
this season of our partnership has been challenging - with me being in nursing school, and having little time to ride. Batman has handled everything like a champ and i cannot wait for this semester to be over so i can spend alllll the time with my buddy.
i’m lucky to have @laurenfergusoneventing and @l.c.k.eventing on my team supporting us through it all. and a huge shoutout out to the best horse show mom @jenny_vanesky for always being ready with the treats post-ride. we couldn’t do it it without you! 🥰 #ManwithoutacountryTB by @jrv.eventing

My perfect, sweet, goofy, elephant-eyed, mud loving boy - I wish this was all a bad dream and someone would come wake me up.

Thank you for letting me be your person and for helping me chase my wildest dreams. You were the most gentle giant there ever was - I have never met a horse with a kinder eye or a bigger heart. You never met anyone you didn’t like and you loved every kid you ever encountered.

I’ll never understand why heaven needed you so soon, but I hope it’s full of wide open rolling hills, all the cross country jumps you could imagine, and there’s not a single dressage arena in sight. I know you’re cantering around, pain-free, stepping over all the jumps heaven has to offer.

Until we meet again, I hope you’ll watch over Batman and me - get us home safe every cross country round and run along side us during our gallops.

I’ll love you forever and ever, in this lifetime and the next. This world wasn’t fair to you. Rest in peace, my good dinosaur. 👼🏽🦕🩶 #PrivateIslandTB by @jrv.eventing

a little off-season fun ⛅️🥳
Batman and his friends had so much fun at the hunter pace at Masterson today to honor Avery Whisman ❤️ he definitely found his run a few times and had plenty of jump left at the end (the very last jump) 😂 @laurenfergusoneventing #ManwithoutacountryTB taken in Masterson Equestrian Trust (MET) by @jrv.eventing

a video of some flat from this summer 😎

our show season didn’t end the way we would’ve liked but Batman is happy and healthy, and that’s all that matters. now it’s time for a lot of education to prepare us for a successful 2026! 🤞🏽

our time together looks a little different now that school is back and i’ve started nursing school 🥲 i’m appreciating every second i have with my boy and i’m so lucky he’s such a good boy and can handle having multiple days off at a time. he comes out just as good as he was the last ride. he’s the perfect boy for this time of my life and i couldn’t do it without him, or the caring hands of @l.c.k.eventing @dtm_eventing @laurenfergusoneventing 🥰🥰 #Manwithoutacountrytb by @jrv.eventing

Batman + his favorite people 🤎

@stgeorgesalesllc - thank you all so much for trusting me with your special boy. I hope we are making you, and his Dam, proud. Your love for Batman is clear in these photos, and he obviously loves you just as much 🫶🏽

dressage at KY Summer 👼🏽🫶🏽
always improvements to be made, but so happy with the progress already showing. Batman is upset his weekend had to end early and doesn’t understand why he couldn’t run xc. there’s always another weekend and i’d rather save him for when he’s 100% 🤎
thank you as always to @laurenfergusoneventing, @l.c.k.eventing, @jenny_vanesky, and everyone else who supports us at home and competitions. congrats to @eobeventing and @l.c.k.eventing on having a great weekend!! #ManwithoutacountryTB taken in Kentucky Horse Park by @jrv.eventing
