What a blessing to have had studio space with @lmcc_nyc for the past year. Now, the chapter is closing, opening doors to new opportunities to create and share. There’s so much I want to share, but for now, this beautiful photo by @omarixg captures a moment of stillness, filled with thoughts of — can I finally achieve a goal I postponed out of fear? Session 2 of our Winter Workspace is winding down. Each of these artists-in-residence bring a unique perspective, using areas and elements of the garden to inspire their work. ⁠

Between water and the galaxy lies a Black speculative fiction narrative called Patchwork Passenger. In June, I shared an intimate experience with @srymae in the studio, thank you for capturing my “Om”. The second photo features one of the many ceramic relics that will be showcased during the @lmcc_nyc open studios on September 27th, from 12 PM to 5 PM on Governors Island. Additionally, I will present my first directed performance, Mitochondrial Relics (mtRelic), alongside some amazing collaborators.
