From the moment we arrive in this world a quiet voice awakens inside of us. A guide. A companion. Our very first best friend.

But most of us were never taught how to care for that connection. We learned ABCs and tying our shoes, how to follow rules, be polite, and share with others...yet no one ever paused to say:

“Speak with love to the one who lives inside your heart.”

Self talk can be a soft light or a shadow we struggle to step out of. It can help us rise or convince us to shrink.

Children deserve to grow up knowing they are worthy, strong, and magical...not someday but now.

That is why I created Little Potions for Big Magic
a guided childrens workbook filled with stories and simple rituals that help kids understand their feelings speak kindly to themselves and trust the magic they already carry.

For four and a half years, I’ve been documenting the random hearts that show up in my life…water spills, road cracks, sandwiches, clouds, chips…well, everything and everywhere… the universe clearly isn’t subtle.

This morning, while working, I reached for my coffee and found this. I’m always being reminded to stay in gratitude, stay open, and always lead with love.

There’s something beautiful about a Strawberry Full Moon. Not because everything magically changes overnight… but because it reminds us that growth has seasons.

Some dreams take years underground before anyone sees the first blossom. Some people arrive exactly when your heart has made room for them…and some endings turn out to be the most generous beginnings.

Release the need to control the timeline and make room for surprise, wonder, abundance, and a little everyday magic. The universe has a funny habit of delivering things right after we stop gripping them so tightly.

Here’s to ripe dreams, unexpected conversations, open doors, and whatever wants to find you next.

For another trip around the Sun.

For the people who stayed. For the people who left.
For the lessons I asked for and the ones that arrived completely uninvited.

For the magic. For the heartbreak. For the moments that made me laugh out loud.For the moments that changed everything, and the ones that seemed small at the time but somehow changed everything anyway.

This year taught me that surrender isn’t giving up.It’s trusting that life might have a better imagination than I do.

And as the longest day comes to a close, I’m ending it the same way I began it:

With gratitude.

For the light. For the mystery. For the magic. For the adventure.

For the friends who answered the phone. For the strangers who became teachers. For the plot twists.
(Though a little less character development next year would be appreciated.)

Here’s to another year of collecting stories, chasing wonder, talking to birds, making questionable offerings to the ocean, and believing that magic still has a place in this world.
