Version 2.0. The updated JSBL NBA/ABA Alumni list reflects several modifications, corrections, and additions. This version of the list increased the NBA/ABA player count from 171 players to179 players. It includes every player to play in at least 1 NBA game and at least 1 JSBL game or JSBL sponsored event. The list has been re-formatted in the order of player's last names.Notable Alterations:Shaq Harrison made his JSBL debut with Larson Ford and played in 2 games in 2023 after the list was published and now appears on this version.We discovered that we omitted Rory Sparrow from the original list. This was a major error as he played a significant amount with the Royal Manor on the 1981 championship team and in other seasons.There was some contention over if J.R. Smith actually played in the league or not. We found definitive evidence that he appeared briefly with RKE Athletic at St. Rose while in high school.Larry Hennessy now appears on the list due to the discovery that he played in a JSBL Old Timers Game while he was the commissioner. It was also discovered that Wilson Washington played briefly with Birch Hill in 1983. We were able to confirm that Mark Jackson (not to be confused with Marc Jackson who was already on the list) did appear briefly in the late 1980's.We managed to omit Xavier Munford who played for Larson Ford at Wall High School. It was brought to our attention shortly after the original list was posted and corrected on this version.Finally, we discovered that Adrian Griffin played during the 1990's at St. Rose.We are confident that there are even more NBA/ABA players out there that played briefly at the JSBL that we missed. We will continue searching until we have found them all. by @jsblhoops

For championship Monday, we have a special message from the 2 time back-to-back 1991 and 1992 national champion Duke Blue Devil and current Arizona State HC Bobby Hurley reflecting on his JSBL “55” Honor. The crowds were never larger at St. Rose than when Bobby Hurley was suiting up for the Allenhurst Barbers!
