Four years ago today I had my accident. Left on my motorcycle expecting to return home in one piece, but little did I know this day will be the day my life would change forever…

Although it was a blessing in disguise, don’t take your moments for granted. Don’t take your life for granted. Don’t take opportunities for granted. We are all living as though tomorrow is guaranteed to us when we have no idea what God has in store for us.

She thought it was a surprise birthday dinner…

But this had been in motion since November.

A whole murder mystery.
A whole plan.
A whole setup… just to lead her to this moment 💍

I had to trick her just to get her in the house 😭
She never saw it coming… not the story, not the ending.

Her dad had the ring the whole time…
and in the final clue, he passed it to me—
like, “it’s your turn now.”

March 20, 2026.
8 months in… and I knew.

God wrote this one different ❤️

Real question… are these bikes more expensive than my prosthetic leg? 🤔🏍️

Nope!

Most people don’t realize prosthetics can cost as much—or more—than motorcycles. And unlike bikes, they aren’t optional. They’re how people move, work, and live.

Losing a leg didn’t take my love for riding, but it did show me how heavy the process can be—physically, mentally, and financially.

That’s why @rideagainfoundation matters. They support people across all disability types—helping individuals find ways to ride again, access adaptive options, afford equipment, and feel supported through the journey. Amputees are just one part of that story.

This isn’t about sympathy. It’s about awareness. Access. Freedom.

There was a time I didn’t think I’d ever walk again — at least not normally. Riding a motorcycle again? That felt impossible. But I’m stubborn, determined, and hard-headed enough to try anyway lol.

Losing a leg the way I did brings a lot of questions you may never get answers to. So walking unassisted became a major goal. But there were levels.

First came crutches (fun lol).
Then the wheelchair (even “funner,” even though I fell out a few times).
But nothing felt like actually walking again. I just wanted to feel capable and independent like before.

Finally getting a prosthetic — after a long, expensive, stressful process — felt like a chance to be “normal” again… even if it came with a little waddle lol. Learning to walk with it has been fun, hard, emotional, and one of the most rewarding challenges of my life.

And getting back on a motorcycle? That was the ultimate test. Not letting my disability break me mentally or physically has been my greatest accomplishment. Glory to God.

When you ride a motorcycle, what you wear can decide how the story ends. I learned that the hard way. I think about it all the time, I probably would’ve saved my leg and avoided a whole list of injuries I never asked for had I wore the appropriate clothing. (Dress for the slide not the ride)💯

Huge shout out to the @cyclegear (store #66) family in Houston for coming to my rescue lol. The experience was frustrating, awkward and empowering all at the same time. The customer service was phenomenal as well!

@rideagainfoundation and @titaniums1000 are building something new for riders like us. Gear that respects the challenges and still lets us show up at the track with confidence. It’s going to change the game for a lot of people.

Until then, I’ll keep using what’s out there and making it work. If you’re an amputee rider trying to ride again, tap in. We’ll share everything we’ve learned, from the mistakes to the wins, so you don’t have to figure it out alone.
